Position Purpose Responsible to manage PB s and Meals in Caribbean cluster. This cluster is conformed by 47 countries or dependent territories, which includes Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic, Jamaica, Bahamas, Suriname, Guyana, Cuba and direct clients as PriceSmart, Sigma, Cost U Less.
Also needs to manage a complex and ambiguous sourcing environment from internal manufacturing to CoMans, in which the main responsibility is to lead innovation projects aligned with cluster needs.
Responsible to lead the short and medium term strategy, execution and control of all marketing activities such as media planning, activation, digital strategy, events and promotions, including relationship with agencies and budget control to achieve volume, NR, market share and profit goals.
Also responsible to identify and deliver new business opportunities to support category growth. Main Responsibilities
Lead and responsible for the category performance in Caribbean cluster, including all P&L.
Strategic Planning :
Responsible for the development and execution of category strategy throughout the cluster, ensuring improve brand positioning and communication with a consumer centric approach.
Responsible for the development of multi brand strategy : Consumer Promotions, Pricing Actions, NPD launch and guarantee that everything is executed in a timely manner.
Analyze market information and identify market trends to support the category growth.
Responsible for leading cross-functional teams (Sales, Category Planning, PCM, Business Development, Finance, Agencies) in the planning, execution and analysis of various business initiatives.
Marketing Activation :
Responsible for the concepting , development and execution of consumer promotion, through the coordination with external agencies.
Lead weekly follow ups on promotion results and defining new course of action to achive promo goals.
Develop and executes all actions to guarantee the correct launch of an NPD : pricing actions, sales sheets, selling stories, master data.
Partner management to align on new opportunities and necessary actions.
IBP and AC process :
Regular follow up of category performance (SI / SO, Trade Stocks, NPDs) and close collaboration with Cluster Lead, Markets leads and Category Planning team to develop actions to achieve volume and NR targets.
Responsible for develop the building blocks to support AC growth.
A&C Management :
Responsible for the A&C investment, ensuring its optimization, defining split between marketing plans and Category Planning tactic actions.
Operational A&C administration (WBS Creation, monthly provisions, pre-close etc).
Project Management and I2M :
Responsible for the identification of new business opportunities that drive category growth.
Lead the actions needed to deliver new opportunities, such as : multifunctional evaluation, sizing of the prize, define the scope of the project and complete all I2M phases, quality and responsible decision making with a financial and business perspective.
Strong participation in the I2M process and innovation projects of the brands, participation of the meetings assuring the activities and tasks of the marketing area.
