Our team is seeking a senior 5G System Test Architect, with experience in design, development and deployment of a complete 5G system testing lab infrastructure for wireless access solutions (Fixed Wireless Access, Small Cells etc).
The candidate will be working on the fast paced, and leading edge advanced wireless technologies building exciting and complex hardware / software solutions.
Job Summary
Define and own the System Test Specifications, in sync with Product Requirements Document
Define and own the System Test Plans, in sync with Interoperability Test (IOT) plans
Define and own complete test plans in accordance with Power user Trials (PUT) or other types of user testing.
Ensure that test specifications are propagated into lower-level test specifications at every SW component
Act as main interface with infrastructure vendors / operators / partners for IODT / IOT / Field test plans definition, evolution and execution.
Interface with customers and partners to understand variances and evolutions of requirements
Act as source of knowledge for wireless cellular standards as well as product deployment, deployment scenarios, lab and field issue analysis and resolution.
Create technical literature such as datasheets, application notes, product brief, system test specifications
10-20% travel may be required
Key Challenges
Demonstrated prior experience with 3GPP certifications
Experience with reproducing an end-to-end test on test equipments emulating gNBs (e.g. Keysight, Anritsu, Spirent)
Know-how in requirements management and traceability to test cases.
Know-how of V testing applied in complex systems
Very good understanding of 3GPP specs
Experience with creating an exhaustive and relevant test plan and automating it
Clear mindset of defining procedure to diagnose systems at the very high-level
In-depth knowledge of cellular radio standards (GSM, UMTS, LTE, NR), regulatory requirements, and carrier requirements
Excellent communication skills, and ability to thrive in a global multi-site environment
Knowledge of WiFi connectivity standards (IEEE .11ac / ax / ad / ay) is a plus

Hardware Design Manager for Networking products
Chief Architect for MPU products to plan the strategy and roadmap
Product Marketing Managers to align on deployment and validation strategy and roadmap
Chief System Test Architects from customers for requirements alignment, deployment scenarios and product evolution
Job Qualifications
BS in Electrical Engineering or Software Engineering or other similar discipline with at least 10 years of relevant experience.
MS in Electrical Engineering or Software Engineering preferred (higher level education may substitute for some experience).
PhD is a plus
