Job Description
Perform general maintenance and repair duties, including light carpentry, basic electrical, HVAC, grounds maintenance, and arranging furniture and partitions.
Maintain and follow proper compliance and systems requirements
Perform basic troubleshooting, simple repairs and maintenance on facility equipment, controls and systems, including water system, fire and security system
Guide contractors and service providers who perform more complex repairs and maintenance of equipment and facilities
Utilize standard and portable power tools
Perform general repairs and work order requests. Assist in movement of office furniture, materials and equipment as required.
Change florescent light bulbs and paint interior offices as needed
Maintain preventive maintenance logs
Dispose of waste chemicals and materials following approved safety processes and procedures
Oversee access control, building alarm, camera system and building security for multiple locations
Coordinate and schedule facilities in-house staff daily tasks
Qualifications
Mechanical / electrical aptitude with problem solving skills
Ability to use hand and power tools
General knowledge of plumbing
Basic knowledge of MS Office, Excel and Outlook
Good verbal and written communication skills
Good interpersonal skills
Basic math skills
Some knowledge of phone systems is a plus
High school diploma or equivalent
One to two years maintenance or facilities experience
Current CA driver license, with excellent driving record
