Implement and reinforce strong adherence to the standard operational, risk and control processes as it relates to GENESIS Data Quality Operating Model
Perform monthly trend analysis of GENESIS Data Quality exceptions
Review GENESIS Data Quality exceptions during month-end cycle and investigate root cause of new exceptions
Identify tactical remediation and coordinate with relevant stakeholders within limited timeframe to meet monthly KPI
Propose appropriate strategic solution and liaise with relevant groups to eliminate GENESIS data quality exceptions in the medium to long-term period
Follow through the delivery of strategic solution through proactive involvement and regular coordination with strategic solution owners, e.
g. FRSS Implementation teams, IMR (Issue Management Resolution) owners, etc.
Manage and address data quality queries / issues on GENESIS production data through timely feedback to data users
Conduct second-level investigation on medium to complex data quality queries / issues on GENESIS production data and propose resolution path (both tactical and strategic)
Escalate timely to appropriate resolver groups, e.g. technology teams, if data investigation requires expertise outside of the team, and follow through accordingly
3 to 5+ years of relevant work experience in large financial services, consulting, shared services’ operations related or similar industry
2 to 3+ years of leadership and management work experience
Preferred) Good people management and conflict management skills
Preferred) Agile leadership or ability to adopt different leadership styles as called for by the situation
Senior management expectation and partner relationship management skills
Knowledge of research methods , statistical or data analytics this may include familiarity with statistical packages (SAS, SPSS) and data management strategies
Internet browser and basic computer skills; intermediate to advance working knowledge and experience on MS Suite Applications
Knowledge of bank product / s (Deposits, Loans, Securities, Derivatives, etc.)
Preferred) Relational database or data relation discipline
Preferred) Knowledge of Citi’s Finance and Risk systems including GENESIS, Full Suite, Product Processors, General Ledgers, Reporting Ledgers
Preferred) Knowledge of Citi’s financial and regulatory reporting processes and organization
Preferred) Knowledge of similar Quality Assurance / Citi Lean / Process Improvement practices (as applied to data quality operations)
Good critical thinking, problem-solving (error detection, root cause analysis, error correction), conceptual, analytical and decision making skills
Preferred) Other interpretive skills : experience in Change Process, DQ Implications, DQ Cost / Benefit Analysis
Good verbal and written communication, interpersonal and presentation skills must be able to present and influence across organization level and functions
Good project / time management and organizational skills; good attention to details
Self-starter, quick learner, customer-focused with ability to independently manage work and drive multiple deliverables concurrently in a fast paced changing environment
High caliber team player with good judgment, flexibility and productivity with good track record in establishing partnership and team work
