Position Purpose :

The Senior Consultant, Global OTC Credit & Collections will play an essential role in providing thought leadership and driving the execution of the Transformation Strategy for OTC Credit & Collections as led by the GPO for OTC.

This position will drive a disciplined approach on OTC Credit & Collections process definition, monitoring, management of key improvement opportunities for Kimberly-Clark in the OTC domain.

The role will help deliver change management at a process level, while partnering with IT team to deliver the most effective and cost-efficient solutions that align to K-C OTC Transformation Strategy.

  • Execute the Order to Cash (OTC) transformation strategy within a specialized process tower (Invoice & Cash Application, Credit & Collections, Deduction Management, Pricing & Rebate (Trade & Rebate Settlement), Sales Controlling that drives success in our priorities to deliver for our customers, transform the way we do business and execute as one global team.
  • Drive global standardization, sharing of best practices, transformation & the migration of initiatives that results in improved effectiveness and efficiency along with ensuring alignment with the end-to-end process objectives and initiatives within process tower.
  • Champion the approach for discussing and implementing best practices, standardized solutions and tools ensuring that you consider current and emerging risk management demands on the process.
  • Help to dimension OTC processes across functions and delivery locations to ensure an enterprise wide and truly cross-functional approach to the way services are delivered.
  • Collaborate to ensure alignment with regional OTC operational process owners on process objectives, priorities and initiatives.
  • Be a strategic thinker with the ability to analyze complex business processes and proactively seek out and define projects aimed at standardizing, optimizing and improving OTC operations globally.
  • Demonstrate a strong knowledge of internal controls ensuring the OTC process and transformational initiatives are well controlled.

  • S cope :

    Global OTC processes span across four GBS regional sites (NA, EMEA, LAO and Asia / Pacific) along with our Genpact Operations in Noida, India with varying degrees of maturity.

    OTC accounts for approximately $20 billion in annual sales, more than 300+ global employees and approximately 80 outsourced resources (Genpact).

    The incumbent will be expected to be knowledgeable of peer companies processes and metrics for benchmarking, best practices, and tools.

    Qualifications / Education / Experience Required :

  • A bachelor’s degree preferred in a financial, accounting or business-related field.
  • Candidate should have at least 5 7 years’ experience preferably in a GBS organization.
  • Proven business acumen in a global operation with thorough understanding of end-to-end process management with experience within the OTC process, including the upstream and downstream impacts (ATR, AP, etc.).
  • Highly motivated with a proven track record in influencing and implementing change.
  • Must have strong analytical and organizational skills with demonstrated capability to standardize, collaborate and influence across regional teams and cultures including outsource partners and Senior Leaders.
  • Candidate must have excellent project management skills with demonstrated capability to drive change and continuous process improvement.
  • Ability to collaborate and productively interact with a wide variety of cultures including outsource providers.
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal), interpersonal and presentation skills required. Advance English (B2 or C1), position reports to Global.
  • Position supports global processes that requires accommodating regional time zones (very early and very late meeting times) and may necessitate some international travel.
  • Principal Accountabilities :

  • Execute the GBS transformation strategy which drives success in our priorities to deliver for our customers, transform the way we do business and execute as one global team.
  • Champion the use of GBS standardized methodologies when executing transformational initiatives or functional migrations.
  • Use Lean / Continuous Improvement tools and processes to drive productivity savings via standardization and automation.
  • Deploy OTC best practices, standardized solutions and tools globally that is aligned with GBS vision including strategy and design of S4 HANA
  • Maintain a catalogue of evaluated improvement opportunities.
  • Ensure internal controls are maintained and managed as related to the cash application and order settlement processes and overall customer management.
  • Actively engage in large, complex end to end projects
  • Be a champion of change, leading by example and providing process expertise to global teams
  • Consult and inform key stakeholders of global OTC opportunities and outcome of improvement activity.
  • Establish direction and guidelines for benchmarking studies to ensure consistent results globally.
  • Define process metrics and identify components for consistent measurement globally, including cost to serve, defining targets, assessing progress and recommending process changes.
