CWT Meetings & Events is seeking to expand services in the Costa Rica CWT Center for group air coordinators. This exciting role works directly with attendees traveling to centralized events for our client companies.
The type of meetings includes incentive award programs, sales kick off programs, internal client meetings, board meetings . to name a few.
Research and may book domestic and international air / rail / car service in various destinations at varying levels of complexity, conducting research, using negotiated fares to secure lowest logical group rate
Communicate with travelers and process requests via inbound phone calls and email programs
Responsible for following CWT scripting, GDS standard processes and compliance standards
Monitors fares / availability, communicates key information / risks to meeting owner on a timely basis
Adhere to program SLAs and KPIs at all times
Keeps immediate supervisor and / or meeting owner promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance and take prompt corrective action where necessary or suggest alternative courses of action which may be take
Keep abreast of airline fare rules, industry standards
Must meet targeted productivity and accuracy expectations
Follow program specific approval requirements
Performs other projects, duties and responsibilities as required or requested
Participate in training as required
Acts as a trusted advisor by offering informed and insightful recommendations to provide the best traveler experience in every situation
A team player with all members of the group travel team, focused on successfully delivering exceptional customer service and satisfaction
Full vaccination scheme ( ID and QR will be required)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Fluent in English; Spanish secondary is a benefit
Excellent travel industry knowledge
Expert in GDS (Sabre) and other booking tools used by CWT (in Costa Rica we train for this skill set!)
Has specialist skill set or subject matter expertise in group travel (in Costa Rica we train for this skill set!)
Intermediate skills with MS Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel
Ability to consult
Courteous, professional phone manner
Attention to detail
Ability to multi-task is essential, multiple programs, clients and systems
Have an open minded and willingness to adapt
High School Diploma
Previous experience working in a customer service environment / call center environment
