In this key role, you will manage, direct and drive sales into assigned territory (Costa Rica). Responsible for the growth and development of sales in the territory and for Lead direct and indirect work team, motivating and ensuring the development of a high-performance team while meeting the vision, mission, culture and corporate guidelines.
Create and implement strategic plans focused on attaining country-wide deployments of Fortinet products and services, in order to penetrate Enterprise, Corporate and Medium / Small Business.
Develop relationships with key customers, partner ecosystem and influencers in assigned territory and leverage these relationships.
Coordinate with appropriate internal groups to generate and deliver winning Contract Bids, Proposals, RFI / RFP Responses, and Statements of Work.
Negotiate terms of business with clients to achieve win / win results that provide the basis for strong ongoing relationships.
Direct and motivate a team of Sales Representative and Engineers.
Develop partner and account plans to achieve goals and exceed quota responsibility and grow required.
Maximize Fortinet opportunity while providing value added solutions to enterprise institutions.
Serves as lead contact responsible for the flow of information to / from executive management.
Works closely together with the account managers, channel managers and extended sales team in order to maximize the primary business focus and serves as team leader responsible for the quality and success of activities in the territory.
Develops relationships with key decision makers, influencers and partners.
Manages effective working relationships with assigned region MAMs, CAMs, Technical Sales Engineers, Marketing and Consulting Professionals
Consistently builds and delivers on an accurate territory pipeline and forecast experience.
Required Skills :
12+ years of experience in the territory of Costa Rica in sales roles.
12+ years technology selling experience managing a direct team.
Proven experience creating and implementing country strategic development plans for Costa Rica.
Proven ability to sell solutions to enterprise and government customers in Costa Rica.
Experience in the network security industry.
A proven track record of significant over-quota achievement and demonstrated career stability.
Experience in developing and closing large deals in Costa Rica.
Selling experience must include one of the following : 1)Firewall / VPN 2)AV 3)IDS / IPS 4) Network Security
Excellent presentation skills to executives & individual contributors
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Fluent in English & Spanish.
