The Data Entry Clerk will perform tasks that will helpimprove the quote and order service levels This is an entry level position thatrequires a balance of attention to details and speed.

Primary functions includedata entry and processing of quotes, orders, and related activities andrequests. The Data Entry Clerk will be working with multiple systems that he orshe needs to update timely and accurately.

He or she will be in contact withinternal customer care personnel.

Responsibilities

Receive and process customer request for quote andorders.

Using the established standards, check that all informationsupplied by the customer is correct and complete to ensure the customerreceives the product they need and at the time they need it.

Accurately upload, enter, and book order in businesssystems. For quotes, enter and send to engineering team.

Process Interco Purchases to factories and keep datesupdated in system.

Maintain updated customer information in business systemsand other databases.Collect and saveneeded documentation to ensure compliance with record retention anddocumentation procedures.

Assist other customer care personnel with correction oforder and quote entry errors.

Understand and consistently apply commercial policies andbusiness practices related to quote and order entry process.

Ensure compliance with import / export, contract andgovernment requirements. Screen orders and quotes for compliance with the businessunit Terms and Conditions, Agreements and standards.

Perform other duties as required.

Requirements

Education : High School diploma is required.

Experience : 0 to 1 Year of Customer service, data entryexperience, or other related experience.

Experience as a member of a fast paced, customer-centriccompany where there was a spirit of teamwork between peers, a direct salesforce and representative selling organizations, preferred.

Good written and oral communication skills (English - atleast able to communicate)

Solid prioritizing and organizational skills along withbeing a self-starter.

Solid keyboard skills and a strong proficiency for usingWindows & MS Office applications is a must.

Willing to work on flexible shift schedule based on businessneeds.

The initial requirement is to Work in an Schedule to SupportLatin America entities limited to that, so this could represent a work schedulefrom 6am to 3pm, or 7am to 4pm or 8am to 5pm.
