The Operations Reporting Analyst is responsible for critical business support activities which ensure the operational effectiveness and excellence of the corporation.
The person in this role will become part of a highly effective team within the Catalina Global Operations organization. Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills are needed, as is the ability adapt to change and learn new processes.
Quality outputs, efficiency, and continuous improvement are always in focus.
Responsibilities
Primary responsibility to maintain Catalina’s proprietary product UPC / GTIN database
Process new or updated product UPCs / GTINs received from external sources
Utilize existing framework and assist with updates to Catalina product categorization rules
Complete UPC / GTIN addition and change requests for internal customers
Evaluate and process requests for sales category definition and fee changes
Conduct regular product dictionary data quality and categorization reviews
Cross train in other department functions and provide back-up support for team members
Run reports using SQL-based query and reporting tools such as Coginiti / Aginity, MS Access, and MS Excel
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent directly related work experience
Minimum of 2 years relevant experience
Experience with reporting and database applications including SQL-based query tools
Proficiency with Microsoft Office : Access and Excel capabilities including macros
Must be detail-oriented with a critical degree of accuracy
Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills
Effective problem-solving and issue resolution capabilities
Effective interpersonal skills, self-motivated, demonstrate a strong desire to learn, be adaptable in a fast-faced, dynamic environment
Effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of executives, managers, and subject matter experts
Must possess solid organizational and work prioritization skills
Ability to work independently with limited direction while meeting or exceeding personal and team goals
Support an environment of teamwork and learning new concepts, skills, and tasks
Ability to work full-time, remote
Initial in-person working sessions and periodic meetings may be required
Consumer packaged goods industry experience and general UPC knowledge is preferred
