What the role is
Responsible for all departments, processes, programs and locations in the country under his / her care. The Country Partner will be a strategic player in the successful rollout of Selina in a new country, as well as the profitable management of the operation in every location within it.
The Country Partner will be instrumental and a key decision maker in the recruiting of all the Country-level personnel.
What you will be doing
Achieve Growth plan target as stated above
Monitor Country goals including each location' P&Ls as well as meeting established timelines.
Actively participate in all hiring activities at country level and in the recruitment of general managers for all locations in the country
Collaborate through business and country expertise with diverse functions : Real Estate, Business Development, Development, Pre-Opening.
Be a strategic driver in all deals and partnerships at country level.
Be a vocal advocate for the Selina experience and brand. Act as a legal representative for Selina in the assigned country.
Actively participate in the training of all staff in the country : both at country and location level.
Monitor the representatives of the different departments to ensure they provide the right level and quality of support to the locations in the assigned country.
Act as direct manager for all the location General Managers in the country. Provide them with guidance and support.
Promote healthy relationships with other businesses and neighbors in the areas of our locations
Connect the GMs and location management to the global functions that provide for them products, policies and programs.
Champion localization for any applicable product, policy or program at a country level.
Personally oversee all country level procurement negotiations.
Monitor schedules of all departments and ensure labor efficiency
Supervise the environmental health and safety staff or services in line with compliance.
Support Selina’s expansion (outside the assigned country) as requested / required by the company.
What you need for the role
Excellent communication skills
English and Native Language of the Country Assigned
Min. 5 years experience in Real Estate, Hospitality, or Related Business in a management position
Experience in management F&B business (highly desirable)
Exposure to sales and marketing functions (desirable)
Experience working in multicultural environments
Sound understanding of processes and operational efficiency
Strong management and negotiation skills
Solid abilities for reporting and analyzing information for decision making
Low and High Skill Wellness Delivery
Staff who are wellness-focused and have a passion themselves (or hold a qualification) can deliver a wellness activity in the location for our Luna Loyalty Program.
