The Opportunity

The Director of Business Intelligence and Systems will be responsible for technology solutions for the Global Digital Media for Enterprise business which includes Adobe’s flagship Creative Cloud and Document Cloud solutions in the Americas, EMEA, APAC, and Japan.

Reporting into the Senior Director of Sales Operations and Customer Success, the Director of Business Intelligence and Systems will be accountable for defining and implementing the technology roadmap of a best-in-class Field team for Adobe, and supporting superior execution by the Field and technology organizations.

What you'll Do

Manage a team of professionals providing centralized support for the Digital Media Organization in the Americas, EMEA, APAC, and Japan.

Advise business leaders by providing data-based strategic direction to identify and address issues and opportunities for the Adobe Creative Cloud and Adobe Document Cloud enterprise businesses.

Quarterback a team of specialists in areas such as engineering, data science, programming, product UI / UX, and analytics to build scalable processes, systems, and tools to conduct analyses, develop insights, and deliver meaningful recommendations.

Advise senior leaders and use your experience to become a trusted advisor while providing strategic guidance and operational oversight in a complex pre and post-sale environment.

Develop tactical initiatives that improve the sales and customer success teams’ productivity and performance, and end-user product adoption.

Introduce innovative performance metrics and improvement programs.

Research, develop and execute on sales and adoption tools, technologies, and automation solutions and strategies in the field.

Establish highly repeatable and scalable Field processes, automation, and reporting methodologies that can be implemented across regions and business units.

Help recruit, inspire, lead, mentor and motivate product and technology team members to capitalize on the market opportunity for Adobe.

What you need to succeed

Demonstrable experience managing a best-in-class Business Intelligence or Data Science team at a top management consulting firm, SaaS organization, or financial services institution supporting aggressive revenue growth.

Degree in Computer Science or Engineering, and coursework or job experience with data science.

Experience with enterprise software applications including SFDC, SAP, SQL, Power BI, and Tableau.

Advanced hands-on Microsoft Excel and Power BI skill-set.

Strong executive presence and communication skills, with ability to engage and inspire senior leaders including communicating your team vision.

Outstanding problem solving and analytical skills including talent for conducting research, analyzing data, developing hypotheses, and synthesizing recommendations.

Ability to utilize combined industry benchmarking information with a strong analytical capability to identify market trends and test alternative approaches to strategy that yield superior performance.

Ability to lead and coordinate multi-functional teams.

A high degree of intellectual curiosity, ability to absorb new concepts quickly, and entrepreneurial strengths

Heavily results-oriented with a consistent track record of meeting and / or exceeding technology launch targets.

Experience in a subscription revenue environment is ideal.

Willingness to travel up to 10% (post-pandemic).
