Develop RF sensors, RF circuits for COMET auto-match products.
Design NIST traceable calibration system for RF V / I / Phase measurement.
Develop DSP models for RF systems using tools such as MathWorks Simulink
Perform RF electromagnetic simulation using tools such as HFSS / ADS and be responsible for board design and functionality.
Perform board level tests and work with FW engineers to ensure product functionality.
Document design ideas to build internal technology Wiki pages.
Design and implement calibration routines and fixtures.
Analyze and verify test results and improve test fixture HW and FW when necessary.
Assist in the development of internal IP & technology roadmaps.
Assist product teams to build and create world class auto-match products for the semiconductor plasma processing market segment.
Masters’s degree or equivalent experience in Electrical Engineering.
5+ years of RF circuit, RF VI sensor, directional coupler, filter, power divider or antenna design experience.
Must have deep understanding of RF measurement system.
Must have deep understanding of lumped and distributed-parameter circuit models of the Electromagnetic structures
Expert in RF circuit design for MF to VHF band (300KHz 300MHz).
Experience in high power (1kW 50kW) and high voltage (100V 25kV) electronics.
Ability to layout PCBAs is a plus.
Experience programming FPGAs is a plus.
Ability to write simple test programs in C / C++ / C# / Labview for developed hardware is a plus.
