The Policy Operations team is charged with ensuring a quality and safe user experience with revenue products, protecting the company from legal and reputational risk, and removing roadblocks for genuine customers to transact freely on the platform.

We do this by implementing scalable and effective enforcement solutions.

What You’ll Do

As a Program Manager focused on Anti-Money Laundering efforts, you will be responsible for implementing data-driven enforcement and compliance solutions across Twitter’s suite of new and existing suite of revenue products.

You will be at the forefront of the latest developments in the compliance space, and you’ll need to ensure we’re equipped to execute.

You will work hand-in-hand with Finance, Legal, Trust & Safety, Product & Engineering to identify ways of. You must be an expert problem solver adept at crisis management, a collaborative and passionate teammate, and someone who can influence a cross-functional team with competing priorities.

Build Twitter’s AML program from the ground up, partnering with Legal & Compliance to understand the integration, regulatory and operational requirements

Oversee the day-to-day AML / BSA enforcement & compliance program operations for Twitter’s suite of newly announced and existing revenue products, including agent enforcement / support, legal / compliance escalations, and investigative requests.

Proactively and reactively identify patterns of malicious activity, and work with global cross-functional teams (Product, Engineering, Finance, Trust & Safety) to identify and implement prevention measures

Drive synergy across teams at Twitter focused on increasing health, identifying opportunities to leverage each other's technology and resources

Serve as an internal AML expert for internal stakeholders and external customers

Analyze data and translate it into actionable insights and business opportunities


5-6+ years of experience within a compliance or internal control function

A track record of planning, executing, and delivering results for complex and cross-functional technical projects

Experience making quick and effective decisions that could have down stream operational impacts while navigating policy, legal, and logistics constraints

Experience working with third party identity verification vendors

Exceptional leadership skills and ability to influence at senior levels

Ability to work productively in a fast moving, cross-functional, and at times ambiguous environment

Extremely detail-oriented with an ability and affinity for process creation

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Focused, self-motivated, and proactive in building relationships and pursuing opportunities

Highly analytical and capable of using data to make decisions

Not afraid to roll up your sleeves to get the job done! Role will be strategic but is built on a tactical operations foundation, and at the outset a major focus area will be developing policy enforcement workflows
