We are seeking a strong hands-on Senior Financial Analyst to be a key member of the DA Finance team to support planning, reporting and analysis functions.

The successful candidate will be responsible for forecasting and financial analysis to drive critical decision for the business as well as driving continuous improvement to transform internal processes.

The successful candidate will be accountable for the following key duties and responsibilities :

  • Financial modelling of future performance based on historical trends and future business plans
  • Drive continuous improvement on revenue forecast modelling by client and product, increasing the accuracy on both existing revenue streams and new sales, with focus on automation and standardization
  • Navigate large amounts of data to discern underlying trends, risks, and opportunities; drive to resolve issues and pursue opportunities
  • Execute periodic close responsibilities including revenue and cost accounting critical to capturing business results, including revenue and royalty recognition and accruals in line with IFRS15, revenue reconciliations and explanation for the main variances
  • Support the team on all financial planning activities (annual budget, strategic planning, half-year review, monthly rolling forecast), providing relevant analyses
  • Support preparation of monthly reporting packs and quarterly trading announcement
  • Facilitate reporting process improvement initiatives and explore opportunities to improve functionality and automation
  • Maintain a strong control environment while helping the business to be nimble and efficient in decision-making and execution
  • Deliver on ad hoc requests from different functions within the business or regional / global leadership
  • Develop a deep understanding of the Decision Analytics business and market, including its risks, opportunities, and competitive environment
  • 3+ years of progressive experience in data analytics, commercial finance, financial analysis and forecasting, preferably supporting a Business Unit or Sales Division with a proven track record of delivering great results
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Data Sciences, or other analytical field; MBA, CPA a plus
  • Positive attitude, strong collaborative style and work ethic with passion for learning in a flexible and changing environment
  • Highly motivated self-starter who manages projects end-to-end and is a team player
  • Integrity in research / analysis and commitment to accuracy
  • Hands-on and comfortable with a fast paced, dynamic environment
  • Excellent skills in data analytics with the ability to draw concise insights from large sets of data. Strong skills with business intelligence tools preferred.
  • Experience with Tableau, Oracle and Hyperion a plus

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel required
  • Knowledge of finance and accounting principles and concepts
  • Ability to multi-task several important priorities simultaneously and work independently on assignments of various levels of complexity
  • Demonstrated ability to drive continuous improvement and solve problems in a team environment
  • Great communication skills with ability to simplify complexity
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills. Ability to have fun and bring a sense of humor to work.
