POSITIONOVERVIEW Sales Opportunity Representative
National Instruments’ Sales Operations team isseeking a dynamic Sales Opportunity Representative to serve as a dedicatedresource amongst the Americas sales account team for our Strategic andEnterprise accounts.
This role provides a centralized point of contact to provideOperations support through the entire opportunity management lifecycle toenhance Sales Productivity and a positive Customer Experience.
Essential Duties include :
Proactively collaborate with sales on opportunities for operations support driving velocity and removing roadblocks through the entire opportunity lifecycle through fulfillment.
Leverage technical expertise to complete system configurations and creation of accurate & timely quotations for sales account managers.
Establish and maintain relationships with key technical & operational counterparts within accounts.
Identify technical & procurement insights for the collective account team that can be stored in a centralized account summary and treatment strategy database.
Drive the process of inventory forecasting to our Planning organization from sales opportunity reviews.
Serve as a centralized point of contact for non-standard commercial terms review and partner with Deal Desk providing a recommendation for approval based on account knowledge.
Partner with post sales Customer Support Representative to ensure orders are processed with correct pricing, entitlement, and technical solutions flow through from CRM to ERP for implementation, tracking, and reporting purposes.

Basic Requirements :
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
3 years in Sales Operations experience
Experience supporting strategic or enterprise key accounts.
Experience supporting a field sales organization including the use of CRM tools and processes
Preferred Requirements :
Degree concentration in a technical, business or communications field
Sales, Field, and Contract Operations
Technical Acumen and Capacity
Distribution and Logistics -Intl Operations including knowledge of import / export best practices
Inventory Forecasting and Supply Management
Product Lifecycle Management
Accounting and Procurement Management
General Business Acumen and Financial Principles
Excellent planning, organizational skills, strong attention to detail, exceptional communication skills
Time management and the ability to learn independently
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (intermediate to advanced), PowerPoint, and Word
Ability to thrive in a collaborative environment and effectively partner with functional teams to meet account needs.
