com.The Configuration Modeler works closely with the eCommerce, Product Marketing,FIS, and IT to define common product interaction models and implement systemsfor integrating these models into our internal and external systems andprocesses.

Implement Merchandising Modelby creating, modifying, and managing compatibility rules / models formerchandising offerings such as Platform Systems, product SKUs, accessories,and software
Model product dependencies andcompatibilities based on business rules and logic that are define by productmerchandising, product specifications, and systems requirements
Setup model configurations fornew products and or update existing model configurations from both internal andexternal Stakeholders
Communicate effectively acrossmultiple teams in order to ensure data integrity and model validation for dailyworkload and in preparation for web releases
Gather, document, andcommunicate requirements effectively to ensure valid implementation of configurationmodels.
Prepare test validations andperform functional acceptance testing of model changes within testingenvironments
Understand Nis Productofferings and identify cross-sell and up-sell opportunities
Create and maintain trainingdocumentation on how the different models, rules, and or configurations work aswell as any troubleshooting tips
Maintain quality and integrityof data model and rules structure
Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration or other technically related field
Basic understanding of Pseudocode terminology, logical data flow, and principles
Foundational level skills in project management
Knowledge and direct experience using XML and other data storage systems
Basic understanding of HTML
Familiarity and understanding of Hierarchical Data Structures
Advanced English communication
Experience with Web Sphere Commerce or Sterling Configurator a plus
Experience with JIRA, Scrum and / or Perforce a plus
Experience with NI’s Product Platforms a plus
