This is a unique and exciting opportunity to be the financial business partner for New Product Development Engineering Teams with heavy emphasis on new product launches for Knees, Hips, Trauma, and Robotics franchises for Orthopaedic products.
In this role, you will assist with developing cost structure for new products or processes for margin improvement and sourcing decisions.
Other functional areas to support include Global Automation and Digitization and Memphis Tooling Services.
Facilitate the Capital Project management process including capital request submissions, providing and validating cost information, project reviews, and tracking capital expenditures for timely capitalization to the Fixed Asset System.
Conduct analysis for new product sourcing / cost structures to include variable and fixed costs.
Budget, Forecast, Period-end Closing, and Financial Reporting.
Audit purchase requisitions and general ledger for compliance to Group Policy.
Implement process improvements / streamline processes as required.
Identify opportunities, risks, and performance outliers.
Share data driven insights (quantitative and qualitative) that help Finance Business Partners deliver to targeted outcomes.
Develop metrics for tracking.
Support special projects as Finance Lead.
