Work with the Operations Manager functioning as a driver of buyer / planner team for select work cells to provide for level scheduling of production floor.
Identify areas for continual improvement in the procurement and production or products at the site.
Lead, develop, and manage warehouse, shipping, and receiving personnel.
Execute, track, and take accountability for supply chain savings and results.
Guide organization in logistics topic and development of strategic to improve the supply chain cost and time.
Participates as a member of the plant staff.
Responsible for metrics tracking and performance related to the Supply Chain, Customers services and inventory.
Works with a sense of urgency that enables production schedules to be meet while minimizing unnecessary costs related to downtime and labor and material variances;
and without jeopardizing the health and safety of the general workforce and / or the quality and accuracy of production and without violating established work standards and ISO requirements.
Provides recognition to employees. Ensures training is provided for effective performance. Proactively addresses issues with employee with supportive documentation.
Adheres to Company policies and procedures. Conducts timely performance reviews. Coordinates effective delegation of work assignments and training.
Provide frequent, clear, and objective feedback regarding direct reports’ job performance and behavior, including formally documented feedback in the company’s performance management system.
Facilitate the development, training, and advancement of direct reports, and create a clear succession plan in your area of responsibility.
Engages in providing a safe working environment for the employees by actively participating in and encouraging the employees to participate in the Safety, Ergonomics and Environmental (SEE).

Support to Engineering to perform the New Product Introductions into production.
Demonstrate leadership and commitment with respect to the HSE, Environmental and Energy Management Systems by developing, leading and promoting a culture which supports the intended outcomes of the management systems.
Directing and supporting persons to contribute to the effectiveness of these management systems.

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or equivalent experience
Minimum of 7 years’ experience managing Supply Chain, logistics or customer services teams and groups.
Excellent communication and training skills
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing tool box
Excellent problem solving and facilitation skills
Strong team oriented professional with good interpersonal skills who is hands-on with a high energy approach to work.

Proficiency in the use of PC and programs, particularly Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint.

MBA degree or the educational equivalent
Licenses / Certifications : Lean Six Sigma Preferred
FDA Quality System Regulation, ISO 13485 and design control experience preferred. Well-rounded experience in medical quality systems, product development and manufacturing disciplines.
Understanding of required standards / regulations impacting medical devices.
Experience using SAP ERP software
