  • Responsible for ensuring successful performance of the supply and delivery chain for assigned portfolio of products within the region.

    Participate in Global and Regional forums as regional point of contact for assigned portfolio. Drive improvement initiatives related to supply & inventory management to support achievement of commercial goals for the region and markets in scope.

    Accountable for Supply Assurance of assigned product portfolio (typically larger and / or more complex portfolio than Supply Planners)Accountable for Inventory planning and coordination of inventory deployment for assigned product portfolioSupport completion of Product change lifecycle management activities requiring supply inputDevelop and maintain relationships with Brand Supply Leaders and Manufacturing Sites, serving as point of contact to clarify any queries or action plans related to assigned productsRepresent markets and BU in forums (global, regional) for assigned portfolio of productsDrive completion of supply-related or other assigned improvement initiativesShare accountability with AMP Team Lead to drive resolution of escalated issues

    Supply Assurance (for assigned product portfolio)

    Continuously monitor and ensure product supply of assigned product portfolio to represented marketsReview and identify current and future supply changes and supply risks (short supplies or excess inventory)Drive replenishment changes with plants, communication and resolution of supply issues with stakeholders using standard processes (e.

    g. e-alerts, weekly calls with market / plants, BSL engagement, etc.)Escalate risks to AMP Team Lead as needed (based on urgency, impact, complexity )Review forecast changes, new business opportunities evaluation, and identify significant demand risks.

    Proactively understand demand drivers and supply implications from forecast changesSupply Scenarios developmentPartner with AMP Team Lead to drive : Resolution of escalated risks with stakeholdersResolution of escalated issues in Supply chain agreement (SCA)Changes in transportation mode

    Critical Shipment Monitoring (for assigned product portfolio)

    Coordinate pre-shipment and support post-shipment issue resolution with Intercompany Operations(I / O) or market teams as requiredInterface with IO and GTC and DC’s as needed, Example : import licenses, customs, quality, release, etc are generated on-time

    AMP and Market / Plant interactions

    Raise Supply Alerts coordinated with Demand ManagerDetailed MPS preparation AdHocExecute consistently AMP to Market Supply / Demand Review meetings (where agreed to with specific markets)Maintain regular AMP to Plant Review meetings and S&OP Meetings with the sitesEnsure clear communication with Supply Outlook report(OSCAR)Support Business SO&P Slides preparation AdHocGenerate KPI Reports (By Plant)

    Inventory management and deployment (for assigned product portfolio)

    Develop inventory targets and budget for assigned productsDrive continuous optimization of inventory and working capitalAnalyze inventory performance versus budget and develop action plans to achieve targetsPerform root cause analysis of inventory deviations vs.

    targets and of inventory drivers and define improvement plansMinimize inventory write-offs. Monitor and manage inventory shelf-life / expiry dates, and actively improve processes to avoid obsolescence write-offsEnsure in market inventory is actively managed and expired or short dated stock is appropriately, securely, compliantly and expeditiously disposed of on a physical and financial levelDevelop and negotiate SCA (supply chain agreement) with stakeholdersCoordinate and execute pre-shipment and post-shipment activities required in-market to have product available for sales in alignment with different stakeholders and defined responsibilities such as repackaging and relabeling activities, domestic inter-company sales, quality release prioritizationDevelop and maintain Packaging Materials Planning according to country requirements.

    Product change management (for assigned product portfolio)

    Proactively and continuously support product change activities (new launches, line extensions, Artwork changes, discontinuations, loss of exclusivity etc) securing achievement of business objectives, service levels, costs and working capital requirementsServe as local point of contact for questions related to changes and impacts on inventory deployment

    Point of contact for BSLs and Sites

    Serve as point of contact to BSLs and manufacturing sites for any questions related to supply issues, resolution plans, inventory for assigned set of products

    Represent region in global and regional forums (for assigned product portfolio)

    Serve as region’s representative in global / regional forums to provide input and share expertise on supply related topics for assigned product portfolio

    Improvement initiatives

    Own and drive completion of supply or other improvement initiatives

    Key qualifications :

    Relevant experience required in Supply and logistics management, ideally in pharmaceutical industry or other industries where it is required to align customer requirements with sales, marketing and finance.

    5 to 7+ years of relevant experience for Senior Supply Planner

    Language requirement :

    Strong verbal and written English required

    Technical skills :

    Experience In / Understanding of pharmaceutical industry commercial dynamics, trends and regulatory processesExperience In / Understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturing operations and end to end global product flowsUnderstanding of Sales / Commercial / Marketing functional areasContinuous improvement : Leadership of cost, operations and business improvement projects for Logistics & Supply processesERP / SAP System implementationsImplementation of New business / distribution modelsLocal Logistics market knowledge (LSPs, transport)Exposure to business finance

    Key capabilities :

    Ability to quickly grasp and understand complex situations involving many moving partsExpertise in use and leveraging of ERP systems and reporting tools (E.
