We are seeking a Supervisor for WU Digital Payment team, based in our Santa Ana, Costa Rica office

This role will be responsible for the operational results, people management, and business relationship with product constituents for Payments Process Exceptions.

This role contributes to the success of WU Digital Payment Operations by leading the Exceptions handling and prevention process and cost & customer impact reduction initiatives.

It will ensure processes compliance, leading continuous process improvement across the Payments organization. It partners with the Operations and Product leaders to recommend improvements that will support their activities and function as a bridge between the organizations.

It ensures we maintain documentation for the standard procedures and process flows. The position will work closely with various departments and vendors to maintain best in class customer experience.

Finally, this role will drive process compliance with regulations and Western Union policies.

What you will need to succeed :

  • Bachelor’s degree in systems engineering or related field
  • Solid experience in Data collection, management and analysis, SQL and HQL queries or similar
  • Advanced Excel and Power BI are required
  • Project management and Scrum framework experience
  • Strong people management capabilities.
  • Problem analysis and problem solving
  • Solid communication skills - verbal and written C1 English level
  • Experience with digital payment methods
  • The following certifications are a strong plus : Scrum, PM, Six Sigma.
  • What will make you stand out :

  • Payments and Collections experience is a plus
  • Experience with implementation of corrective action programs
  • Advanced MSOffice skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) required
  • Knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements
  • Solid experience leading process standardization and documentation
  • Strong communication skills, self-motivation and results-oriented approach.
  • Ability to grasp new concepts and integrate quickly to deliver results.
  • Experience in working with large organizations.
  • Enjoys working in fast-paced and rapidly changing environment.
  • Flexibility to adapt and able to manage multiple assignments while working independently.
