What you’ll do :
Reactive review of internal and external transactions of Equifax’s US and International products to identify fraudulent and / or inappropriate access of data.
Review and investigate complaints of fraudulent activity along with other suspect alerts of potential fraud.
Establish reporting and recommendations on improvements realized through analysis of best practices
This position requires the review and decision making of consumer transaction activity related to consumer authentication, credit card transactions, IP address history, email address usage and different pattern combinations.
Analyze and provide ongoing recommendations and results of current high risk behaviors and alerts as changes occur, so that security reports and rules can be modified or developed to continue to encompass risky behaviors.
Respond to complaints of fraud, analyze the activity and make effective decisions within a strict SLA timeline and review security monitoring reports and systems to identify suspicious patterns that warrant further investigation.
Investigate any suspicious patterns that could be indicative of fraud or a security risk as necessary.
Effective English communication skills B2+ / C1 (written / verbal)
2 years of experience with GSuite applications and manipulation of data within Excel / Google Sheets to include working with charts and pivot tables
2 years of experience with fraud detection or related fraud / security data analysis strongly preferred
Extra points for any of the following :
Prior investigations or fraud prevention background
College degree (Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Criminology, etc.)
Certification on Fraud (ACFE, IAFCI)
