The technical data analyst is responsible for the ongoing functional support of enterprise software / tools utilized to streamline the provisioning of our customers data to required 3rd party vendors.
In addition ensure all the systems & development initiatives involved are programmed and meeting all our customer SLA’s.
Some duties include working closely with our Data Service group to optimize and develop all 3rd party / internal extracts
Provide technical support for the quality control programming, identify programming gaps and implement rules and processes to optimize quality output
Create and maintain all SOP’s for the software, tools and processes the function supports and work with manager to receive sign off on the quality level measures implemented.
Follows established procedures
Collaborate with team members and identify ongoing efficiencies which will optimize process and service delivery utilizing technical expertise
Serve as SME on booked and transactional data development initiatives : analysis, documentation, mapping of requirements testing and reviewing the steps in the data flow from source to report
Troubleshooting report queries by reviewing report calculations parameters and underlying data, able to explaining what report purposes and metrics
Producing reports on an ad hoc basis and creating scheduled tasks
Support adhoc reports related to 3rd party data provisioning and data processing
Support department initiatives in order to meet company goals
Recommend changes and improvements in alignment with the CDS strategy

Supports the booked and transactional data development initiatives : analysis, documentation, mapping of requirements and testing of booked data to 3rd party vendors
Contribute to the creation of process documentation for all supported tools / processes and ensure documentation is maintained in accordance to SPnD guidelines
Keep manager abreast of any process or workload challenges that may impact SLAs
Understand business needs, identify risks and gaps, research and develop solutions in response based on technical capabilities
Identify and mitigate potential risks to the business during development of technical solutions and build in robust fail over processes in support
Provide supporting SOP documentation for all developments adhering to CDS standards for documentation.
Support the JAMS scheduling tool and ensures standards for setting up the SQL jobs
Support the JAMS scheduling tool out of hours should jobs fail
Implement through process improvement initiatives and utilization of software additional automation
Continue to review optimization opportunities and integrated processes between technical applications / software driving efficiencies
Provide assistance to the technical analysts on data anomaly research and discrepancy resolution
Share technical knowledge and best practices with the team in formal and informal training sessions
Serve in a technical and advisory capacity for support of GCDS OSS team members & management
Quality control programming review of software and identify optimization opportunities within TIDE / ADCS & Monarch
Ownership of TIDE / ADCS & Monarch / Agresso QC scripting, create training manuals consistent with QC rule & validation requirements
Responsible for continuous process improvement; constantly evaluating processes and service delivery to identify opportunities
Keep abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends Maintain a current knowledge of new releases, bugs and issues and communicate to the CDS Managers
Must have 3 + years of experience working in a technical role, supporting data and MIS systems
Must have 2 + years experience with Visual Studio - ASP.Net, VB.NET, C#, VBA, Other programming languages preferred.
Must have RESTFul service programming experience.
Must have experience working with IIS web server.
Must have some Cloud Computing knowledge to help with future expansion of current platforms, AWS, Azure.
Strong technical background, including knowledge of the booked / transactional data, the collection process, work flow and the data integration.
Solid knowledge of the global data environment and data capabilities
Strong technology background, including an understanding of multiple environments, database systems, databases, business intelligence tools, reporting tools and a working knowledge of the development environment.
Strong competency of SQL tools and ability to effectively write and interpret queries and results to aid in troubleshooting efforts.
