Job Title : Spend, Savings & Cost Modelling Analytics LeadLocation : Costa Rica LagunillaPurpose : Lead the spend & savings analytics and cost modelling functions for the Procurement Center of ExcellenceKey Responsibilities :

  • Build and develop the Spend / Savings Analytics & Cost Modelling functions within the Procurement Center of Excellence
  • Lead and grow offerings based on evolving customer needs; develop and execute on roadmap to build capability within the CoE
  • Drive standardization of reporting process and execution, including consistent reports, metrics, data sources, etc.
  • Ensure timely execution of standardized reporting cadence, including quarterly reports, annual operating plan and executive reviews
  • Serve as first point of contact and escalation point for all Spend / Savings Analytics & Cost Modelling needs serviced out of the Procurement Center of Excellence
  • Provide guidance, oversight and coaching for a team covering procurement spend and savings analytics and should-cost modelling
  • Triage and assign requests from business and procurement users accordingly, based on specialized skillsets and experience of the team
  • Support high profile, complex analytics requests in support of category management teams in key market events
  • Track and report on key metrics and SLAs for the Spend & Savings Analytics and Cost Modelling functions
  • Manage digital enablement of the functions, including portfolio of spend and savings and cost modelling tools usedCompetencies : Functional & Technical skills
  • Sourcing knowledge required
  • Advanced analytics capability (Excel expert, knowledge of SQL, Tableau, PowerBI a plus)
  • Expertise in spend, contract management, supplier management, and sourcing tools (e-sourcing, spend analytics, ERP)
  • Experience with workflow management tools (ServiceNow, QuickBase) Nice to have
  • Knowledge of project management mechanisms that can be used to manage workload and prioritization of requests from external customersLeadership / behavioral
  • Effective leader with people management experience in procurement will need to build and develop a team with balanced skillsets and capabilities
  • Entrepreneurial mindset - keen to build and develop a function from the ground up
  • Highly analytical with strong attention to detail to ensure high quality outputs are delivered
  • Metrics / data driven focus on driving measurable improvement in all processes and established KPIs
  • Strong process orientation with experience driving continuous improvement and a track record of achieving resultsExperience & Qualification
  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in business management, computer science, or other relevant field
  • 5+ years of experience in a data analytics management role
  • High level of English language competency (verbal and written)
