Your tasks

  • Analyzes and understands the enterprise business model, including processes and systems, in order to design, apply and improve a reasonable and overarching cyber security architecture.
  • Assess the organizations' information technology and computer systems, identifying strengths and weaknesses
  • Plan, implement, and supervise computer and network security systems.
  • Responsible to articulate and disseminate computer security policies and procedures across the organization.
  • Respond, control and coordinate security breaches and assess causes, damages, and data recovery, with proper event documentation.
  • To take up strategic group-wide cyber architecture concepts and to transfer these ideas into operational concepts for all Business Groups by working with our Group Corporate teams.
  • Perform cyber security risk analysis during the build and design phase of new business-driven projects.
  • Perform security analysis of implemented business-driven IT projects.
  • Analyze business-driven IT projects to enhance the cyber security posture.
  • Support the mitigation of identified risks and vulnerabilities.
  • Point of contact to collaborate with SOC organizations.
  • Our expectations

  • Cyber security or IT related degree or equivalent relevant experience
  • Minimum 3+ years’ experience in the area of responsibility
  • Experience with simulating threats for an IT project and deriving cyber security risks
  • Willingness to accept challenges and probing different ways to find a practical and effective solution
  • Proven expertise of security best practices and frameworks (e.g. NIST, SANS, NCSC, ISO2700x)
  • Holding or willingness to attain relevant security certifications like CEH, OSCP, CISSP or comparable
  • Knowledge of hacking tools or willingness to deep dive into the toolset of hackers
  • Understand computer and network systems, cybersecurity, and risk management
  • Strong interpersonal, oral and written in English communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization, customers and suppliers
  • Willing to work overtime as needed to meet critical needs or project deadlines.
  • English skills of 85% (oral, written & comprehension)

    Summary : The Cyber Security Architect and Specialist will have a dual role as architect and Information security specialist.

    It will be required to support our organization to analyzes and understands the enterprise business model, including processes and systems, in order to design, apply and improve a reasonable and overarching cyber security architecture.

    This role will also be required as operation function to apply security best-practices and standards to the design and implementation phases.

    Review and define policies and define plan to deploy them to the organization. This position will be assigned as the Information Security Office for the Freudenberg Medical organization.
