The successful candidate will be overseeing a busy creative team producing a wide range of marketing collateral to promote the European Prime Video service.

The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of leading talented, highly productive design teams, and ensuring project milestones are met and production goals are achieved.

The designer will be responsible for creating a variety of online and offline assets (e.g. flyers to direct mail, display advertising graphics to emails and so on) to delight the customer base and drive engagement through thoughtful visual design.

He / she will be responsible for delivering high-quality and compelling deliverables that are customer-focused, simple and intuitive.

The candidate must demonstrate an ability to work creatively around difficult design limitations whilst confident to suggest, document and implement new and improved design approaches, methods or processes.

He / she will strive to continuously innovate and improve with the help of gathered data. The candidate will be expected to proactively share and document new learning’s within the team and wider departments.

The designer must also be a natural collaborator and a great communicator. He / she must have the confidence to interact with the relevant business, development, project / program management groups, other designers and executives to succeed.

The candidate must have the ability to present their designs to senior-level management with well thought out and logical justification.

The successful candidate will work with multiple-design teams across Amazon, as well as liaising with printers, copywriters, developers and marketing specialists.

  • Regularly look outward to identify opportunities for improvement and to incorporate advancements in visual design, methods and tools.
  • Manage time effectively, meet deadlines and communicate needs and trade-offs if their schedule is in jeopardy.
  • Ensure design requirements are met in adherence with product / project guidelines.
  • Ensure attainment of quality standards and perform regular quality reviews on production, layout, and design of creative assets at key production stages, including final QC review and signoff, prior to deployment.
  • Coordinate design, provide source files, manage QA design reviews, and advise on production and design issues through all stages of production.
  • Provide clear guidance and management to resources. Manage and filter all design and production requests. Monitor workflow and communicate priorities to maintain quality.
  • Identify training needs and enable staff to develop new skills as required. Lead by example through collaborative problem solving, mentoring, and provision of learning opportunities.

  • You MUST have a link to your portfolio on your resume.
  • Professional experience as a designer either in house or in agency.
  • Bachelor's degree in design or related field experience.
  • Experience in design, digital production, and project management of print and electronic products throughout product life cycle.
  • Highly skilled in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Flash, and other design tools.
  • Knowledge of marketing fundamentals and ability to implement them in creative ways.
  • Self-starter who is a customer-obsessed, detail-oriented, and enthusiastic team player.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently.
  • An excellent online portfolio showcasing visual design work.

  • A command of technologies (web, Android, iOS, etc.) is useful.
  • A passion for TV and film!
