  • Ensure effective and efficient staffing.
  • Manage, support, coach and develop leaders and staff.
  • Develop and maintain talent.
  • Ensure the right level of staff competencies is secured.

  • Drive daily execution of transferred Finance activities ensuring their timeliness, efficiency, effectiveness and compliance.

  • Ensure top quality performance results to business and external stakeholders.
  • Allocate resources and responsibilities across the team to deliver business results and develop team members.
  • Ensure process documentation is kept up to date at any time, complete and robust.
  • Ensure effective backup structure and knowledge retention.
  • Liaise with Head of Finance Operations and other finance Operations Managers to ensure alignment within the Finance Operations in Hub and both Spokes and to deliver high quality services together.
  • Work on common project initiatives.

  • Participate in benchmarking Spokeoperations share and implement best practices across countries and geographies (Hub & Spokes).
  • Effectively manage operational issue resolutions and escalations and ensure final de-escalation with internal and external stakeholders
  • Report on performance to the MD Spokes Americas and other stakeholders as defined.
  • Ensure Hub & Spoke policies, processes and operating procedures are followed and executed.
  • Ensure all processes performed comply with corporate and external regulations, policies and standards.
  • Make judgement calls related to the impact of process improvement proposals and the set up and cooperation needed to drive them effectively through the organization (in cooperation with Global Process owner or LEAN Implementation Manager if applicable).
  • Ensure robust control framework is in place (agreed with global process owner) and followed in day to day operations
  • Contribute towards the achievement of GBS Spoke strategic and operational objectives.
  • Role model an effective collaboration with other GBS teams, business and other stakeholders.
  • Support internal transitions. Oversee and ensure successful process transfer until the successful embedding in the day to day operations
  • Adapt operations to changing objectives and priorities.

    Coach, support and develop the first line managers related to all people topics

    Ensure world class end to end process delivery (including internal and external compliance)

    Globally align PTP and OTC processes and sub processes delivery to fulfill high quality services for the business and external stakeholders

    Execute continuous improvement initiatives in the Spoke Finance organization in cooperation with the Global Process Owner and LEAN Implementation Manager
