Job Description

The Partner Marketing Manager, reports to the Senior Director of the Sage Intacct Accountants Program (SIAP) and is responsible for enabling marketing activities with accountant program channel partners.

They will work very closely with these partners as well as a variety of Sage Intacct channel team members including the SIAP partner management team, the SIAP channel marketing team, and corporate marketing team to support and accelerate SIAP partner channel growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with the SIAP Partner Executives to engage in new partner marketing planning activities and to help provide new partner marketing assets
  • Work closely with the SIAP team members to gather, organized, and help build out a marketing foundation for new SIAP partners within the enablement framework.
  • This includes a marketing plan, marketing calendar, campaign, website, and partner launch activities as needed to bridge the gap between corporate marketing content and new SIAP partners.

  • Collaborate with marketing managers at partner firms to develop demand generation activities
  • Work with partners to optimize their online presence, including website, SEO, and social media
  • Hold one or many webinars with partners to discuss best practices for demand generation
  • Collaborate with leadership to allocate and track New Business Accelerator (NBA) funds
  • Work with the Partner Marketing Programs Manager to offer 3rd party vendors who provide marketing services to partners
  • Provide support and content for the New Partner Manager and bi-monthly partner calls
  • Work with the New Partner Manager to engage in enablement sessions and to help provide new partner marketing assets
  • Collaborate with SIAP partners and corporate communications to produce SIAP case studies
  • Collaborate with leadership to allocate and manage New Business Accelerator (NBA) funds
  • Responsible for overseeing joint marketing initiatives between Intacct and partners
  • Work with other Sage Intacct marketing staff to help identify additional content that would be useful for SIAP team and partners
  • Requirements :

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) required
  • 7+ years of channel partner marketing experience as a marketing manager or marketing director, related to accounting firms is preferred
  • Experience building and executing demand generation plans, including email, webinar, event and online programs
  • Experience building out CPA firm internal communications, customer communications and internal referral marketing plans and activities
  • Expertise and a proven track record successfully marketing accounting / financial business applications, cloud accounting software experience is highly desirable
