The Opportunity

We are looking for a seasoned sales strategy executive to help build and lead a Global Sales Strategy team for the Digital Media Field Sales & Support organization.

This role is a hybrid of traditional jobs in strategy planning, sales operations, and management consulting . It requires a mix of market analysis, go-to-market optimization, and operationalizing strategy through sales systems & tools.

A successful candidate for this role has deep experience leading global teams and translating product strategy into scalable go-to-market plans.

Sample projects range from the strategic to the operational. This includes evaluating worldwide market opportunities, building sales execution plans for product growth strategy, GTM integration for new acquisitions, market segmentation, and capacity & coverage model design for full sales ecosystems.

Deliverables include building detailed GTM proposals, owning critical initiatives through to execution, and packaging & delivering sound recommendations to Digital Media executives.

The role requires interaction with various areas of the organization, including executive level leadership. The successful candidate will have relentless curiosity and possess a passion for creating innovative analysis to find opportunities.

Moreover, this person will excel at extracting insights from data and converting ideas to action. This role will oversee a globally distributed team of GTM strategists, ex-management consultants, and sales operations professionals.

What you'll Do

  • Build the team that will become the central nervous system for all planning initiatives for the Global Digital Media Field Sales & Support organization.
  • Own critical initiative creation and incubation by leading a team of ex-consultants responsible for translating ideas into concrete go-to-market plans and recommendations.
  • Lead the annual strategy planning process for the DME Field Sales & Support organization . Establish global must-win pillars, and own GTM strategy alignment with the Business Unit on prioritized initiatives.
  • Own annual global account segmentation process on behalf of the Digital Media Field organization that defines the customer segments our field sales teams will serve across 4 GEOs, 6 core products, and 5 routes-to-market.
  • Develop pre & post sales coverage models and capacity recommendations that span the full customer journey across all human-touch points, tailoring recommendations to specific product and customer segment needs.
  • Be the central point-of-contact between the global field organization and the business units . Own the translation of product strategy into practical GTM plans for the field
  • Oversee a world-class global sales systems & tools team responsible for building and maintaining our core CRM capabilities, and more importantly investing in new capabilities that help us improve seller productivity.
  • What you'll need to succeed

  • 10+ years of experience in B2B SaaS sales strategy, sales operations, or management consulting
  • Proven leader with significant experience developing and nurturing talent, and leading global teams
  • Excellent communication with an ability to successfully navigate highly matrixed organizations
  • Deep experience in building sales funnels and demonstrating data-driven insights to inform strategic planning
  • Ability to challenge the status quo, and influence high-stakes decision making at an executive level
  • Proven experience in building out sales teams that span from pre-sales to sales to customer success and renewal that serve customer segments ranging from strategic enterprise down to mid-market and SMB.
