In a typical day as a Contracts Administrator, you would

  • Works on complex RFPs and a range of contract requests including non-disclosures, beta tests, equipment loans, relocation agreements, and assignments for designated accounts, business units, or geography.
  • Researches existing agreements for compliance, performance, and issue resolution.
  • Interfaces with customers, legal, finance / revenue recognition, business unit, sales, and other direct and indirect stakeholder teams to execute agreements and book business.
  • Provides functional support to customers, sales, and order management for contracts and pricing-related information.
  • Reviews approvals and signatures and prepares data for system entry and agreement archiving.
  • Complies with financial reporting and audit requirements.
  • Works on and responds to a variety of post-execution contract inquiries and modification requests.
  • May review exception purchase orders and facilitates resolution of non-standard terms, including 3rd party assignments and acceptance criteria.
  • Participates in contracts-related projects, including domestic or single business new product introductions and new program implementations.
  • Manages assigned contracts to ensure customer eligibility and milestone compliance; monitors volume and other contract performance reporting, validates discount / pricing and payment of contract fees (as applicable).
  • If you are

  • Subject matter expert on contract processes and template documents.
  • Developed level of competency demonstrated on a wide range of internal and external systems tools and web applications.
  • Ability to articulate basic company standard positions to customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple issues within an agreement and multiple agreements simultaneously.
  • First level university degree or equivalent.
  • Advanced university degree or professional certification preferred.
  • Typically 2-3 years contracts or legal-related experience.
