Our Bulk Gases / Mechanical System Owner supports projects, factory task forces, cross-site and cross-discipline teams, and incident resolutions.

Our engineers act as Intel's System Owners for sustaining and improving existing systems. They are accountable for safety, system operations, auditing maintenance procedures, reliability, and cost.

Our engineer's role model a commitment to safety, quality, and operational excellence at a competitive cost. Responsibilities (N2 plant Emphasis) : Implementation and maintenance of asset management systems including spare parts, preventive, predictive, and proactive maintenance.

Maintenance of environmental, safety, and quality assurance compliance systems and programs are in-line with customer requirements.

Continuing communication with customers to coordinate plant production and maintenance activities to meet customer needs and availability guarantees.

Facility budgeting and accounting.Monitoring and process evaluation.Performing and / or scheduling maintenance of instrumentation, electrical systems, compressors, pumps, turbines, valves, motors, and other plant equipment.

Overall responsibility for 24-hour on-call.Continuous improvement of all applicable safety, environmental, quality and compliance programs.

Responsible to coordinate and audit plans with Integrated Facilities Contractor in maintenance (reactive, preventative, and quality assurance) as well as systems improvements, optimization, and efficiencies.

Responsible for development and compliance of engineering standards including documentation, product, lifecycle plans, and design packages.

Oversee troubleshooting of complex system problems.Participate in cross-site teams and Virtual Factory mechanical / Gas JET's (Joined Engineering Teams).

Audit Document Control process to focus on : Ensuring as-built drawings are incorporated into the master CAD drawings.Ensure the system model is up to date and all construction specifications, as-builts, O&M manuals, and submittals are received after project closeout.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate should exhibit the following skills and competencies : Minimum Qualifications : Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Industrial Maintenance Engineer ME or ChemE or related field and 6+ experience in an air separation or closely related industry.

Instrumentation and Electrical : Candidate must understand electrical principals in practical situations involving the operation and repair of complex electrical devices.

Mechanical aptitude : Candidate must possess basic skills in mechanical system maintenance.Maintenance Programs : Candidate must be familiar with the implementation and ongoing review of maintenance programs and asset management tools, including scheduling and procurement of parts and services for routine operations and periodic maintenance activities.

  • Computer Programs : Candidate must have the ability to use the various software systems used at the air separation plant, including, but not limited to;
  • MS Office suite. Customer Friendly : Candidate must be able to work as the sole permanent N2 plant representative on-site and integrate with Customer on daily interactions, planning, and turnaround activities, becoming an accepted team member as part of the customer's extended site team.

    Preferred : Air Separation : An advanced understanding of cryogenic air separation and associated technologies is preferred.
