What does a great Business Systems Analyst, Sr do?

This role defines best practices in the design and implementation of the ERP solution, conducting detailed business requirements sessions and performing program configuration / modifications of one or more modules of SAP including Materials Management (MM), Supply Chain Management (SCM), and light Production Planning (PP).

This position requires working knowledge of multiple SAP modules and the integration points between them. This is a business-facing role that serves as a liaison between the Business and Information technology teams.

This position will interact with various Information Technology, Functional, and Business teams to ensure that technical solution is properly configured within SAP.

Some Responsibilities :

  • Design and perform configuration of SAP software functionality for Vendor Invoice Management, Material Planning, Purchasing, Inventory Management, Vendor Valuation, Invoice Verification, and Statutory Requirements.
  • Design and perform configuration of non-SAP software related to procurement process such as Opentext Invoice Capture Center validation client and Opentext Enterprise Scan client
  • Troubleshoot and provide solution to any technical of functional issue related to the PTP process in agreement with the issue resolution process proposed by ITIL.
  • Collaborate with the Business Leads; Project Management Office; and Corporate leaders in planning to ensure the architectural integrity and long term supportability of proposed and implemented solutions.
  • Track risks and issues associated with project and production support deliverables; keeping technical projects on schedule and within Budget.
  • Required Qualifications :

  • High school Diploma is a must, would be preferred a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent education
  • Advanced English Level (85% or B2 equivalent)
  • 4 - 6 years of experience under IT program and portfolio management
  • Practical procurement experience including 4 - 6 years of experience with SAP and other related modules (FI / CO, SD, PP)
  • Specific knowledge of Purchasing, Goods Receipt, Invoice Receipt (with reference to PO). Inventory Management, Vendor Invoice Management (VIM),Material Master, third party drop ship, Warehouse management and MRP configuration
  • Sourcing background in various tools such as Coupa, SRM or Ariba
  • Experience in change management / business transformation initiatives
  • Experience with the Financial Services industry.
  • Experience with full lifecycle (SDLC) including requirements, design, development, testing, and maintenance.
  • Skills and Knowledge Required :

  • Background in ERP systems (SAP), portfolio management tools (Clarity), Sales and Account Management (SalesForce), Ticketing and Service Management (Remedy), SOA base integration (WebMethods), Process and Data Modeling (Aris), Analytics (Business Objects).
  • Versed in CMMI, ITIL, or other standard technology frameworks.
  • Spoken communication skills for interviewing, conflict resolution, standup presentations and persuasion are absolutely crucial.
  • Decision making skills for applying professional / managerial principles and judgment, within overall direction established by senior management.
  • Problem solving skills for solving complex technical or strategic problems, applying technology or business approaches in new ways and developing and recommending new alternatives.
