Job Description

Lead & develop the Compliance team in LATAM, encompassing regulatory compliance, technical compliance, and studio compliance

Ensure that all regulatory requirements, as well as internal deadlines, are met by the company in the LATAM region

Enable decisions on new market entries by providing sound compliance analysis and support. Coordinate, process, and monitor compliance projects for established and new regulated e-gaming markets

Communicate efficiently and maintain / develop strong and positive relationships with e-gaming regulators, accredited testing facilities (ATFs), internal departments, external customers, and other stakeholders in the regulatory landscape.

Keep abreast of regulatory developments in and outside of the company as well as evolving best practices in compliance control

Within the remit of the role identify and improve business processes to align with compliance requirements, and increase the efficiency of such processes to benefit the business' ability to comply with regulations in all jurisdictions

Develop project plans and track progress; prepare and maintain status reports and schedules, track milestones / deliverables and dependencies, and manage expectations as needed in consideration of progress / outcomes, ensuring that all work is delivered on time, within the scope, and within budget where appropriate

Prepare any relevant reports and summaries to ensure timely dissemination of information to all interested parties, including senior management, department heads, and external regulatory bodies as appropriate

Work closely and collaboratively with other compliance department heads and key stakeholders (both internal and external) to identify areas of improvement within business practices in relation to compliance standards

Highlight or escalate areas of concern and collaborate with other departments to create a culture of compliance.

Qualifications

Higher education

Minimum of 10 years of gaming compliance experience with a robust understanding of technical questions related to online gambling

Fluent English to a high standard verbal and written, other languages considered an asset

Experience dealing with regulatory bodies on compliance matters

Very good project management skills

High sense of responsibility and motivation

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

Result driven attitude
