Description

Reporting to the LAM Customer Care organization quotes and delivers successful execution of all LAM projects that qualify for the RMT PMO function, meeting each financial and operational project goals.

Works in close coordination with :

  • Global RMT PMO organization (standardization of processes, communication and reporting)
  • LAM project pursuit organization (qualification and funnel quote reviews and S&OP)
  • RMT BU leaders and Operational leaders in the region (Execution coordination and support).
  • RMT Customer Care in Costa Rica (PA Oracle module management, documentation)
  • RMT Production Sites (expediting, scalation and communication)
  • WA legal counsel (ensure contractual T&C’s are acceptable and escalated accordingly)
  • Obtains a premium on project quotation, minimizing customer risk (project certainty) and maximizing RMT profitability thru flawless execution and documentation control.

    That is done by effectively managing the LAM RMT PMO resources in the region and setting up the necessary processes to the deliver consistent results.

    Accountable for :

  • KPI’s related with each RMT PMO project performance (Buy Outs, OP% , Penalties and service levels)
  • Development and performance of the LAM RMT PMO resources
  • Standardization and continuous improvement of the PMO and execution processes with focus on specific industry solutions (i.
  • e. wireless, lixiviation piles, asset location, etc.)

    Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Engineering or related field. MBA is a plus
  • 5 years’ experience in project management
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification as a plus
  • Fluent in English. English-Spanish-Portuguese preferred
  • Knowledge in Microsoft Office package, Excel & Power Point
  • Preferable Familiar with Emerson culture, structure, business units, and products.
  • Knowledge in Oracle and CRM
  • Strong knowledge of project financials, financial statements, especially profit and loss statement and balance sheet, and project budgeting
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with external and internal customers
  • Solid organization and attention to details skills
  • Strong knowledge and use of KPIs
