The Global Cash Application Lead is responsible for a 70- person global team and is accountable to provide an effortless service experience for the timely and accurate disposition of customer payments.

focused people leader builds and executes a global Cash Application strategy that develops talent, creates and optimizes repeatable processes and integrates technology and data into decision making and service delivery.
Ensures deep and broad subject matter expertise within the team and provides strong leadership direction on daily work
Serves as primary partner to key Customer to Cash internal customers (Credit Management, Customer Support and Sales)

Leads the Cash Application team globally and accountable for all Cash Application activities including daily application of received customer funds, issuing refunds and credits, processing and rerouted payments
Provides routine reporting on application KPI’s such as 98.5% accuracy and 1 business day turn-around time
Manage day to day operations of process & period end activities
Challenges status quo to Identify and implement operational process improvement opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deliver value
Reduces amount of unidentified and unapplied cash, implements repeatable and sustainable processes
Puts the customer first by resolving issues and escalations with urgency and completeness
Owns all Standard Operating Procedures and SOX controls and ensures documentation reflects current process and controls operate effectively
Knowledgeable in and helps design and implement automation (Robotic Process Automation, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning)
Ensures latest technology is in place and continues to seek out emerging technology

Graduate / Post Graduate in Accounting with 15+ years of relevant experience in Accounting / Customer or Order to Cash operations
Experience in Accounts Receivable in a multi-company, multi-currency environment preferred
Process improvement certifications (Lean Six Sigma, PMP etc) a plus
Must possess and demonstrate exceptional organizational and communications skills
