Job Description :

The role of Enterprise Data & Information Architecture Manager, Governance & Metrics focuses on driving execution excellence for the EIA function and is responsible for the monitoring and reporting of all function-relevant process governance, change management, communication and education plan, and metrics.

This person will need to work closely with the core EIA team made up of architects and analysts, as well as with key stakeholders across teams.

The role will govern and measure alignment to the EIA standards and practices, all through the IT project implementations.

This person is also responsible for tracking and managing the Data Governance & Architecture program’s data literacy and change management efforts, in close collaboration with the program leader(s) and other key business & IT stakeholders.

The role will double as team lead for the local EIA team.

What you will do :

Support the Data Governance & Architecture program and the EIA practice by collaborating in the identification and documentation of business change impacts, including degree of impact, the scope of people impacted, and impacted processes.

Create, manage, and track the program’s implementation plan around resultant change management activities. Measure and report on progress over time.

Create, manage, and track the program’s communication and education plan. Track and report on progress over time.

Develop, monitor and report on the Data Governance and Architecture’ program’s operational metrics; connect metrics to business KPIs.

Keep stakeholders accountable to program implementation plans, including assessment and implementation plans for data management related enabling technologies.

Assist in the definition and rollout of communication and educational material and their delivery across various forums.

Lead all efforts gathering and analyzing data resultant from EIA function’s people & process change management impacts.

Lead all efforts gathering and analyzing data literacy efforts, as they relate to the education and communication plan and associated activities.

Lead the EIA team in measuring and reporting compliance metrics related to the alignment of design and build activities to the enterprise architecture.

What you need :

Bachelor’s degree in the field of computer science, information systems, or computer engineering.

Advanced degree desired.

Data architecture and / or management certifications highly preferred

8+ years’ equivalent work experience

Experience supporting major change initiatives within an organization required

Experience creating and managing project plans highly desired

Strong expertise in developing, tracking and reporting on program metrics

Exceptional interpersonal skills in areas such as teamwork, facilitation and negotiation

Experience creating information policy to support effective design of information systems and use of information across the enterprise.

Excellent analytical and technical skills, especially using the gamut of O365 technologies.

Knowledgeable in data management practices and / or the design and construction of information architectures that enable well-integrated transactional, collaborative and analytic systems.

Experience with modern data tools like Io-Tahoe, Collibra, Tamr, Alteryx, etc. is highly desired

Experience creating strategic roadmaps to streamline business transformation programs and / or M&As.

Exposure to common information architecture frameworks (such as Zachman and TOGAF).

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Excellent planning and organizational skills

The successful candidate must effectively communicate cross-functionally and at a variety of levels within the organization.

Organization & Strategic Agility. The successful candidate must have a high degree of situational awareness and ability to navigate complex issues and channels to successfully deliver solutions in partnership with business and IS leadership teams.

High Energy & Stamina . Proven capabilities in persevering through cultural and political hurdles with balanced optimism to drive and deliver on managed service strategies / objectives .

Process, Cost & Metrics Champion. Process and continuous improvement zealot with strong analytical skills in identifying and building new opportunities and offerings.

Must be able to consistently drive outcomes through influence and measurement rather than through direct control.

Ownership & Accountability. The successful candidate must be comfortable taking ownership of deliverables, following up and following thru to successful completion, in a collaborative manner.

Executive Presence & Situational Awareness. Must be able to deep dive and understand complex issues, processes and data, but roll-up and convey concepts in a digestible manner across all levels.

Must have the ability to sense and adapt to situations and / or changes in direction with calm, poise and professionalism.
