This position will play a vital role in the creation of a regional FP&A team that supports Experian’s North America business units as well as Latin America Finance teams.

The primary objective will be creating additional capacity for the North America business units by effectively and efficiently transitioning finance responsibilities from teams across the US and Latin America to a newly created Costa Rica team.

Responsibilities include end to end development and management of the transition process as well as business partnering and reporting out to various finance teams concurrently.

The successful candidate will be required to design, scope and effectively lead the delivery of assigned projects from concept to implementation with a focus on excellence and process improvement.

This includes developing extensive knowledge of the Experian systems landscape.

Effectively business partner across Costa Rica finance management as well as North America and Latin America finance teams, and the Global Finance Transformation team with a focus on collaboration, alignment, transparency and building trust

Redesign and maintain all status reporting across multiple projects while ensuring escalation of risks including resourcing constraints, delays, etc.

while ensuring all transition status reporting deliverables are met in an accurate and timely manner.

Lead all projects from initiation to completion

Establish all scope and time parameters

Ensure project requirements are fully defined and scoped through coordination and management of necessary resources

Ensure all stakeholders and engaged and fulfilling their requirements

Collaboratively develop and execute communication plan with Costa Rica finance management

Manage the preparation of all necessary process documentation and ensure these are approved by all appropriate stakeholders.

Skills and qualifications

  • Lean qualification minimum green belt.
  • Experience of working in a multinational / global organization
  • Finance background
  • Senior stakeholder exposure
  • Experienced in handling sensitive issues / situations and cultural differences
  • Strong facilitation and presentation skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills in English
  • Strong communication to all levels of the organization with a focus on stakeholder alignment
  • Ability to lead change across the organization and within the Costa Rica finance team, both on systems and processes
  • Ability to understand resource requirements to match support activities (capacity planning)
  • Strong understanding of project management principles, documentation, project quality standards and relevant reporting requirements.
  • Experience of working in fast paced, results driven role within a complex global organization.
  • Ability to work according to strict deadlines and manage various demands, demonstrating accuracy, attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Lead projects with a focus on agile and lean methodologies to drive process improvements and automation.
  • Proven previous job stability, including maintaining long-term work relationships with former employers.
  • Must be able to clear the company’s pre-employment screening
