Job Role and Responsibilities :

The Sales Operations Analyst, Networking and Security Sales Operations will report to the Director of Americas Sales Specialist Operations.

In this role, you will be directly aligned to the Sales Operations Manager at Networking and Security as his / her day-to-day business partner and operations collaborator, supporting them to successfully deliver against booking and revenue targets and business priorities through sound planning and quality execution across core operational processes.

Specifically, you will be responsible for driving key reporting and processes including planning activities, forecasting and pipeline management, and managing the rhythm of the business.

The role will collaborate extensively with Business Intelligence, Order Management, VMStar support, Deal Management, Sales Leaders

  • Work closely with the Network and Security Sales Operations Manager (the functional leader) to support the forecasting process, implementation of strategic growth and operational initiatives in local GEO
  • Participate in GEO Deal Reviews to understand key details of the pipeline, risks to forecast and areas where you may assist.
  • This includes tracking key changes in the forecast week over week and day to day queries by local leadership

  • Track all key metrics defined by the functional leader and ensure that all local reporting of key metrics is completed weekly
  • Drive pipeline hygiene, accuracy of key opportunity data, and reconciliation of forecast accuracy across systems
  • Be a trusted advisor to sales and operations leadership by delivering insights and helping define strategies in support of organizational priorities and key growth initiatives
  • Territory management work with sales leaders and other Business Operations Leaders to execute territory and account realignment.
  • Ownership of compiling Headcount reports

  • Support Executive Level Quarterly Business Reviews and Monthly Pipeline Health Reviews
  • System access setup for new hires
  • Define sales performance standards driving actions and activities at the sales rep / territory level consistent with predefined success criteria for the sales organization, track and report on these activities regularly
  • Administer, manage and report on bookings performance & revenue forecasting using VMware forecasting and pipeline management methodologies, drive adoption of forecasting tools and dashboards down to front-line sales
  • Proactively diagnose / design / deliver on-going analytical reporting for the sales organization
  • Work closely with other business unit Sales Operations teams to ensure accuracy of systems, reporting and that both sales teams’ key metrics can be reported between the business units
  • Work with sales team and other sales ops teams to ensure that the bookings are accurate from a N&S BU perspective. This includes ensuring that the PSO bookings are accurately tagged to the business unit, token allocations are accurately captured.
  • Required Skills :

  • 3-5 years of experience in Sales Operations, Business Operations, or Finance preferably in technology
  • Ability to quickly and efficiently sort through data to identify key issues or variables to consider in marking critically important strategic decisions
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely with attention to detail. Strong interpersonal skills. Able to engage and influence individuals at all levels including leadership
  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills; Ability to work with all levels of management and across multiple and varied functional teams
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and navigate through a high paced, and sometimes unpredictable work environment
  • Flexibility to accommodate evolving business needs
  • Strong team player with the ability to effectively collaborate and deliver, working across the organization
  • Experience with Salesforce, SAP HANA, SAP Callidus, Tableau Analytics Studio, Anaplan. Mastery of Excel, Powerpoint.
  • Ability to be proxy for Sr. Manager or Director
  • Self-motivated with the ability to take direction and work independently with little supervision
  • BA / BS degree in Business Management, Finance, Data Science, or any related field
  • The ideal location for this role is Costa Rica.
