As Senior Specialist GCSM you will be part of the Global Client Systems Management team responsible for ensuring the availability of the system management infrastructure, client based windows applications, and security patches to the business.
The position also includes installation, administration, monitoring, incident and problem resolution and event handling, specifically software distribution, applying ITIL best practices and following strict quality guidelines.
Applications in scope are :
Bomgar (Remote Desktop Support)
Group Policy Objects (GPOs)
There is a daily interaction with Software Packagers and Application Portfolio Managers worldwide. Also the position has close contact with the Global Service Desk Organization and if needed with Local Site Administrators, Service Management and other technical service providers (Managed Service Provider, backup, windows, server admins, SQL admins, desktop engineers, etc) areas.
Therefore, it is required to have a strong customer oriented profile and solid communication skills.
Qualifications Must :
3-5 years experience with Software Distribution technologies & customer support.
Experience in SCCM 2007, SCCM 2012
Experience in server administration (installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, ) of Windows Servers (2008, 2012).
Experience with client based OS, Windows 7, Windows 10.
Ability to communicate, both written and oral in English, in a concise manner is a must.
Out of business hours work eventually required to perform coordination activities.
On-Call support over nights and weekends required when appropriate.
Experience in Group Policy Objects (GPOs) implementation.
Recommended : Experience in App-V.
Experience in App-V.
Experience in JAMF Solutions, specifically Casper Suite.
Experience in collaboration with a Managed Service Provider.
Knowledge of Packaging & Scripting (vbscript, powershell) will be also desirable.
Knowledge of Computer Systems Validation or equivalent "Best Practices".
Knowledge of change control as it relates to application systems.
Knowledge of global solutions and standards as they relate to our local / regional solutions and processes.
ITIL Based procedures experience.
