Adobe Video is seeking a Senior Product Manager to drive cloud workflow solutions across the enterprise and with external partners.
In this high-visibility role, the candidate will join a highly motivated team of business and technical leaders responsible for defining the vision and strategy to bring our long legacy of desktop video creation workflows to the cloud.
This role is highly cross-functional and requires the ability to think big and influence others. A qualified candidate has extensive experience developing creative solutions in addition to strong analytical and business development skills.
What you'll Do
Define and drive requirements for the product roadmap to address customer needs related to cloud rendering and virtualization.
Be the first point of contact between Adobe and partner business units. Forge connections across Adobe Video product and technology teams to drive alignment on key initiatives.
Collaborate with engineering, design, strategic development, and sales teams to build business cases, prioritize requirements, and determine the best technical approach to ensure customer success.
Make thoughtful trade-offs to balance quality, customer value, and schedule.
Prepare and deliver presentations for higher-level management including Directors, VPs and the Exec Staff with progress, risks and opportunities for cloud-focused capabilities and processes.
Identify and model future growth opportunities for the business.
What you need to succeed
5+ years Product Management experience.
BA / BS in Computer Science, Business, Film, Design or other relevant area; MBA or equivalent practical experience in cloud infrastructure, virtualization and video post production workflows a plus.
Lead by influence : Experience driving cross-functional conversations to achieve a common goal at a fast pace and navigating organizational dependencies critical to product success.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills , including giving presentations and making sophisticated topics clear to a variety of audiences, both internal and external, technical and non-technical.
Strategic approach : Ability to operate at a broad strategic level as well as drill down into the details, and to convert vision into executable product initiatives.
Business skills and user research : Experience leading customer research, analyzing market opportunities and understanding and communicating the business needs of partners.
Technical expertise : Comfortable collaborating on technical decisions; practiced in the art of the possible. Proficient in defining roadmaps and delivering with teams that employ agile software development methodologies.
