Overview
The Shipping Technician I will work closely with the team to ensure a smooth, efficient, and timely execution of all tickets submitted to the queue.
The Shipping Technician will ensure a safe working environment, abide by customer and Milestone guidelines when on premise.
How You Will Make An Impact
Manage ticket queue and ensure all tickets are in satisfactory status routinely and timely
Ensure tickets areprocessed and shipped according to shipping guidelines
Ensure efficiency in the client’s ticketing system
Ensure all tickets are shipped to the accurate location
Provide routine updates to client / customer regarding updates on status of their order
Perform physical inventory counts and report variances to management
Ensure a clean and safe work environment
What You Will Need To Succeed
High School Diploma or GED required
1-2 years’ experience working within a shipping environment
1-2 years’ experience working with a ticketing system
Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time to pull and stage tickets
Ability to lift up to 50lbs
Ability to utilize a computer to operate main functions of the role required
Ability to work flexible shifts including occasional weekend work required
