Ensures platform and its components have the best performance and power balance specifically focusing on graphics hardware components.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for the development, implementation and execution of a variety of flows on a given design block for graphics projects.
The responsibilities may also include coming up with new methodologies / implementing them and validating them to tackle new challenges presented by the new processes as well as looking for improvement opportunities for the current process.
The candidate will also be required to work closely with the rest of the project team members to resolve issues which arise during the design cycle.
Finally, the candidate will give feedback of key learnings into the next chip cycle.
Candidate must possess a Bachelor's degree in Electrical / Electronics / Computer Engineering and 3+ years of experience.
Relevant coursework / experience in Logic / VLSI / ASIC Design / Architecture or related areas will be considered an advantage, the same as knowledge in floorplanning, synthesis, place and route, layout verification, static timing analysis, formal / layout verification flows / processes and experience with UNIX, Perl, TCL and HDL (Verilog, S-
Verilog). Hands-on experience with any of the industry tools in these areas will be a big plus.
Experience in Agile methodologies will also be considered as an advantage.
