The Position
Expertise and Capabilities
Ability to interact with senior management and communicate at all levels of the organization; and to develop strong partnerships across organization and external partners
Time management and organizational skills
Media and agency experience is a strong plus.
Individual accountabilities
Drive employee engagement through innovative communication contents, channels and tactics
Develop and implement creative and impactful internal communication strategies / plans to drive employee engagement
Manage and leverage internal and external communication channels and innovative initiatives to enhance employees’ understanding of company strategy.
Drive communication to reinforce organizational culture and boost the understanding of company strategy
Supports the affiliate leadership team in communication matters
Drive internal leadership communication through impactful tactics, such as company town halls, internal chats, annual meetings etc.
Drive change management communication strategy to support organizational change
Manage and execute a strategic site-wide communications and components of an organizational change management (OCM) program that drives and supports Roche’s desired culture, outcomes and strategy.
Serve as an internal and external communication consultant for key change management projects and initiatives at the affiliate, advising and supporting execution in the form of effective communications.
Collaborate with stakeholders across Roche Central America & Caribbean and regional / global teams to ensure coordinated and consistent communications and promote best practice sharing and adoption aimed at continuously improving of the network.
Develop communication strategies and execute plans against business priorities.
Build, protect and shape Roche reputation through creative and impactful communication strategy.
Work with cross-functions and other communication team colleagues to develop initiatives to bridge dialogue between senior leaders with employees.
Synchronize and localize strategies and information from global headquarter and other affiliates.
Lead and coordinate focus groups or other mechanisms, to listen to the organization and analyze feedback to improve how we communicate the organization's strategy.

Experience
Journalism / Communications / Public Relations.
5+ years of Media / Communications / PR experience.
3+ years of experience leading a Communications team.
Previous corporate communications or communication agency experience required.
Language : Fluent English & Spanish is required .
Experience with change management communications preferred
Experience with Sustainability communications is a strong plus.
