Job Description

The position will have both individual contributor and managerial responsibilities. The role will be the primary senior Finance support for a new, high-

growth business unit covering full P&L forecasting and reporting as well as developing a long-term business model. In addition, this position will manage a local team of four analysts.

While other offsite managers will provide direction on the day-to-day responsibilities for these analysts, the role is a crucial partner in helping to clear roadblocks, ensuring the team shares best practices, and providing career development coaching.

Responsibilities :

  • Responsible for day-to-day financial support for a high-growth business unit
  • Ensuring proper and timely execution of financial processes : monthly close, forecast, and reporting activities; Annual planning;
  • 3 year long range plan.

  • Controllership of bookings, revenue, spending, headcount, and capital expenditures with regular business reporting updates to VP level staff members
  • Prepare Business reporting for the assigned departments.
  • Work with multiple business partners, develop an understanding of the business and translate that into operational priorities and financial modeling.
  • Provide mentorship and leadership to a local team of four analysts providing FP&A support to other business units.
  • Required skills :

  • Degree in Business, Finance or related fields.
  • 5-7 years of experience in Financial Planning and Analysis roles.
  • Supervisory or Managerial experience is highly desired
  • Ability and experience working in cross functional teams.
  • Self-motivated individual with a desire to learn and to grow in a fast-moving environment.
  • Confidence to build a ask for help to his or her peers and / or superiors.
  • Demonstrated experience leading Finance teams and building a strong sense of business partnership
  • Desired skills :

  • Strong analytical skills and capability to communicate valuable insights from data.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills to VP level business partners
  • Ability to ramp quickly in a highly technical environment
  • Initiative to project manage multiple deliverables, making priority calls and solving problems
  • Knowledge of the MS office package. Advanced Excel skills are necessary.
