Key responsibilities

1. Reporting and controlling

  • In charge of financial reporting to the corporate office in line with IFRS.
  • Coordinate and provide input to the Project dashboard or any related activities to the implementation.
  • To drive, prepare and deliver independently the Monthly Results Dashboard required by the corporate office and the Senior Management Team for all companies under his / her scope.
  • Provide monthly budget reports to the company and to budget holders, working closely with them to enable them to make accurate decisions.
  • Prepare and recommend rolling forecast as request by APMT / Headquarters in One stream for all companies. Liaise with the Accounting department to ensure that accounting books reflects at all times the reality presented at Segment and Net profit levels.
  • Prepare Investment Follow Up as requested by APMT / Headquarters.
  • Conduct business cases to justify additional Capital Expenditures.
  • Lead and implement any recommendations that are suggested in the audit report or management letter for corporate reporting.
  • Ensure clear reconciliation of OS reporting and statutory reporting.
  • Responsible for Company s loan control.
  • Provide accurate cashflow forecasts.
  • 2. Financial procedures

  • Develop and maintain and document the various reporting processes of the company.
  • Ensure all finance records are kept accurately and securely according to APMM GAAP
  • Ensure financial policies are being adhered to as set out in the APMT financial manual / APMT Implementation Manual.
  • We are looking for

  • B.A in accounting or finance
  • Minimum of 3 years business experience preferably gained in Logistic, banking or corporate offices.
  • Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, Valuation, Financial Modelling and cost control principles including international accounting standards
  • Knowledge of Hyperion or similar is a minimum requirement.
  • Knowledge of automated financial and accounting reporting systems.
  • Ability to analyse financial data and prepare financial reports, statements and projections.
  • Working knowledge of short and long term budgeting and forecasting, rolling forecast.
  • Work requires professional (English) written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to motivate teams to produce quality materials within tight time frames and simultaneously manage several projects.
  • Have the confidence to provide support to the various departments, having the ability to talk at the appropriate level and to get the message through clearly and with no misunderstanding.
  • Must possess strong leadership to drive and engage the senior management on the course of the financial situation of the company and the long projection base on a given situation.
  • Has visible drive for results, inspires others to strive higher and does not bind him / herself by functional and leadership level boundaries
  • Must have strategic thinking background.
  • Must have knowledge of international accounting standards, accounting principles and practices, including some knowledge of international audit standards.
  • Must be familiar with best practices in the professional field of accounting.
  • Must have a hard-core knowledge of Excel Visual basic is an advantage.
  • Required to observe all safety and health requirements for office environment.
  • Must have professional appearance, consistent with local customProficiency in English
