The Project Manager is someone who monitors exactly who is doing what and when, to execute action plans to keep the utilization and billability of the staff, for what he’ll be in charge of the estimation process and efficiency.
As the allocation manager he / she is the right hand of the Senior Project Manager, at the time to maintain the team busy and efficient while jumping between projects.
The allocation Manager must know the skills of our talent, their strengths and weaknesses, so can recommend strategically the staffing to the right projects.
Responsibilities :
Actively uses, reviews and updates the Allocation hub to have updated understanding of the team’s availability and constrains related to utilization and billability.
Creates estimations and ensures accuracy, by getting support of craft leads, creative leads and the Senior Project Manager.
Develops tool and methodologies to improve the estimation process, to guarantee efficiency and time response.
Be updated about the skill development of the team (training, certifications, involvement in internal initiatives) to have a better understanding for the right allocation.
Keeps updated on the finance and engagement playbook to ensure accurate estimations and relationship with stakeholders.
Generates reports with strategic analysis and inputs that can help the Senior Project Manager. Informs leadership team to make decisions about the talent and projects.
Keeps active communication with other allocation managers, production and project managers to support project opportunities with our dedicated agencies.
Keep an active communication with the Capability Leadership team to identify attrition risk, low utilization and improvement plans for the operation.
Qualifications
7 years of proven experience in PM
Must have experience in Allocation responsibilities
Experience and knowledge with Project Management, Agile Methodologies and PM platforms as JIRA, Asana, etc.
Understanding of creative production processes and methodologies
Strong communication skills
Experience scoping production and creative projects based on a great understanding of creative requirements, talent skills, and project processes
Experience in digital and print production
Ability to handle multiple tasks with different scopes simultaneously
Ability to analyze data and bring insightful recommendations
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Detail-oriented, focused on driving and delivering results
Strong leadership abilities and able to exercise good judgment
Proficiency in providing and managing client satisfaction and feedback
