The person in this position will perform duties to accomplish the verification and approval role according to the Cargill Payment Control Policy (PCP).
They will contact vendors to validate ACH information, address or name changes, new vendors and Factoring.
This position requires the ability to use deductive reasoning to be able to find contact information on the internet if the information provided is not accurate or not provided at all.
The person will also validate consistency in data related to the request in SAP or JDE systems.
70%Process compliance, planning and execution
Under minimal supervision, performs the pre-crud activities for Vendor Master Data object including the Vendor Independent Verification, according to Cargill Policies through outgoing phone calls, send email or fax to Vendor to confirm information or collect documentation as needed.
Ability to work across several ERP’s, in one or two countries.
Under minimal supervision, validates that corporate policies are being followed.
Assist the Operations Supervisor to create and update training documents, procedures and reports, as needed.
Assist in the training and onboarding of new users.
Provides fundamental insight regarding the interpretation and delivery of policies, programs and processes.
10%Data management, Research & Analysis, Systems and Reporting
Data analysis of submitted requests by the business.
Prepares reports / materials and may integrate less complex technical applications and systems, completes forms, and answers fewer complex questions according to requested requirements including monitoring of SLA.
Prepare detailed Master Data reports and analysis.
Understand role of vendor product data in all downstream processes.
10%Process improvement and best practices
Under minimal supervision, may provide support to identify, develop and implement process improvements and best practices.
Communicates with supervisor and other stakeholders to remove barriers, explore new ways of executing processes, and ultimately bring increased value to the process.
10%Client Interaction and Business Partnership
Provide support to businesses by answering questions on requests that are in progress.
Redirect business contacts to appropriate parties and recommend solutions, when needed.
Performs customer service duties to support the administration of the process. This may include sending and receiving instructions, answering questions, working with assigned process teams, providing paperwork to stakeholders, and acting as a liaison between stakeholders.
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent job experience
2-3 years of Business Process experience
English proficiency C1 level
French proficiency written, spoken, read
