Job Purpose :
This role is responsible for providing timely and effective management of domestic U.S state / local taxes in addition of LATAM US GAAP tax processes through teaching, coordinating and prioritizing month-
end activities. Main activities encompasses (but are not limited to) reviewing the monthly income tax provision in accordance with all internal and external accounting and reporting requirements (including analysis and research).
The person on this position will also need to propose and take the necessary actions to ensure minimal percentage of errors resulted from the services provided is accomplished, at the time he / she directly interfaces with Corporate Tax providing Income Tax packages (Federal, State & Local and Fincon) for NAM & LATAM regions while actively leading peers as a critical partner in supplying all further detailed information for external reporting purposes.
In addition, strategic thinking and planning will be part of job responsibilities mainly to : accommodate VOE initiatives, standardize our tasks to avoid geography orientation and move to process based, automate functions that are developed manually and assign goals, create career path for individuals and backups.
The Senior Analyst should have a strong knowledge base, robust set of skills and strategic / leadership abilities to take ownership of end-
to-end responsibilities, along with implementation of initiatives across products.
The ideal candidate will have a combination of strong financial platforms, accounting knowledge and systems data flow, additionally of a proven track record for leading and identifying business process improvements.

Key Responsibilities :
Perform Pre and Month End related tasks and processes (including work-product review and approval of journals uploaded into General ledger systems as required)
Establish and maintain appropriate documentation / controls to ensure the integrity of financial, regulatory and management information in line with country records management policies.
Solidly handle a range of processes, procedures & systems used in carrying out assigned tasks & firm understanding of the underlying concepts & principles upon which the job is based
Serve as subject matter expert on business issues related to tax and all other areas impacting it such as closing process, data acquisition, data enrichment, analysis and final submission to Controllers.
Assist team members on processes queries and questions.
Prepare, consolidate and analyze the System’s and operational metric reporting.
Ensure right support is in place for the current Tax Accounting Global Operating model within NAM / LATAM and Corp teams and their business partners.

Provide information and supporting analyses to facilitate annual business reviews, internal audit and financial disclosure requirements.
Support the MCA process for their processes.
Create solid relationships across the businesses as a value added team player who is sought out by corporate and business unit managers and country leads.
Interpret and implement new or modified accounting requirements in order to ensure financial and management reporting are properly identified and addressed in a timely manner.
Ensure quality and on-time preparation of own and team’s project deliverables.
Determine and provide (if applicable) training conducting the team to the next level of knowledge desired.
Lead participation on time-sensitive activities for Tax, Accounting and ICT teams.
Lead and drive standardization of activities including the identification of productivity and efficiency
Lead reengineering projects to improve productivity, controls and quality of key activities

Knowledge / Experience :
Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field with 6+ years of experience preferably on tax accounting. (CPA or MBA is highly desired)
Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate through all levels of the organization.
Proven career progression and strong understanding / application of technical accounting principles & policies.
Verifiable firm command of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (USGAAP mainly).
Experience guiding staff through change management initiatives.
Understanding of Banking / Finance products as well as Tax concepts is highly desired.
Bilingual : English & Spanish. Solid verbal & written communication skills -C1 required-
