The Data & Reporting Analyst II Global Reporting & Analytics will be a key contributor in the ongoing delivery and expansion of data solutions, primarily for the Purchase to Pay (PtP) organization within Global Business Services (GBS).

This individual will be responsible for delivering reporting and analytic tools and automated reporting solutions that provide the PtP global team with data, KPIs, or analysis to improve their business operations.

The preferred candidate is an individual with strong technical, analytical, communication, process improvement, critical thinking and customer service skills.

The ideal candidate works best within a team environment, is a self-starter, and is committed to quickly delivering high-quality services and solutions within deadlines.

The Global Reporting & Analytics (GRA) Team within GBS delivers innovative analytic solutions through collaboration with internal stakeholders to evaluate their defined business use cases.

GRA utilizes advanced data strategy tools to bring together structured and unstructured data to solve reporting and visualization needs of the business.

This position will report into the Team Lead Global Reporting & Analytics

Key responsibilities :

  • Generate reports and metrics for Purchase to Pay (PtP) regional and divisional leadership
  • Ensure continuous delivery, maintenance, standardization and optimization of PtP reporting and Global PtP Metrics
  • Primary contact for supporting Ariba reporting ad-hoc requests
  • Improve the timeliness and efficiency of data gathering and reporting processes
  • Provide end user support, deliver training and create and maintain process and technical documentation
  • Develop in-depth understanding of underlying data, data structures, and business uses of data.
  • Translate business requirements into reporting solutions, analytic tools and dashboards to deliver actionable data to end users
  • Identify and implement report automation and optimization opportunities
  • Work with the GRA team and business stakeholders on the ongoing development and production of PtP reporting and analytic solutions, with the goals of : Driving real-time knowledge and decision-making Streamlining existing reporting tools in use Strategically automating dashboards and increasing functionalities
  • Qualifications / Skills :

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent is required; 3-5 years’ experience in Accounts Payable, Procurement, Finance; experience in reporting & analytics preferred
  • Experience with systems like SAP ERP (ECC or S4) and SAP Ariba and Business Intelligence tools like Tableau or PowerBI
  • Advanced excel skills (VBA / macros) is a must
  • Experience with ETL (extract, transform, load), data preparation tools like Alteryx and SQL Management studio is a plus
  • Proven analysis and problem-solving skills
  • Detail oriented and self-starter
  • Demonstrated coordination / project management skills and effectively manage multiple tasks / projects simultaneously
  • Able to work in a collaborative virtual setting
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Global Experience; exposure to regional and business unit management teams
  • Languages : English, additional language skills a plus
