Job summary :

This position is responsible for creating and maintaining 3M materials mainly in legacy systems but also SAP. Candidate must be detailed oriented and enjoys working with operational processes, collaborative team player, analytical, proactive and problem solver.

Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following :

  • Develop expertise in customer master data set-up (includes customer creation, maintenance, L2 solving tickets, data analysis.).
  • Develop expertise on data governance and processes.
  • Responsible for monitoring work queues for new requests (i.e. customer quality, customer tickets, customer create / maintenance, cleansing, etc.).
  • Responsible for completing assigned tasks within SLA and Cycle Time targets (i.e. customer quality, customer tickets, customer create / maintenance, cleansing, etc.).
  • Coordination of respective queue or issue resolution, cycle time, leveraging Global Master Data Operations Support team to meet Service Level Agreements.
  • Train / consult functional data providers to support master data collection process.
  • Responsible for facilitation of data collection process and output for SAP. Includes follow-up with the business on missing fields or incorrect data.
  • Provide reports to assigned business team to enable end-to-end process visibility.
  • Identification of opportunities to improve data quality & reduce cycle time.
  • May include training and ERP deployment support.
  • Responsible for escalation of issues as needed.
  • Qualifications / Requirements :

  • Fluent English.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited university or 2-3 years of equivalent work experience in Master Data.
  • Detailed orientation.
  • Collaborative team player.
  • Analytical.
  • Good communications skills.
  • Intermediate / Advanced Excel skills.
  • Systems required (SAP, Microsoft Office tools, Windows, etc.).
  • Open to flexible schedules.
  • SAP advance knowledge required.
  • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Lean / Six Sigma Certified (Green Belt / Black Belt).
  • Additional language skills.
  • Project Management certification.
  • Negotiation skills.
