Key Responsibilities :

Develop effective and efficient operating model with international FP&A teams to smoothly migrate activities into the site

Develop analytical support working with local FP&A teams and their business partners

Understand in-depth how work is coordinated across areas and how it impacts the overall organization and bank strategies

Influence decisions through advice, counsel and / or facilitating services to others in area of specialization

Integrate subject matter and industry expertise within a defined area

Lead financial conversation directly with businesses & finance senior management

Work on Ad-hoc request based on the business necessity. Specific activities include :

Analysis of key management review decks for Regions & Products

  • Participation in time critical activities for FP&A teams
  • Conducting monthly and quarterly reporting. However, focus of the team will be addressing ad hoc strategic issues that are complementary to regular Planning and Analysis processes

  • Development of materials for review with Business
  • Participation in forward looking activities including annual budgeting and monthly estimate process

    Apply in-depth disciplinary knowledge to contribute to the development of new techniques, models and the improvement of processes and work-

    flow for the area while providing value added perspectives or advice.

    Drive standardization of activities including the identification of productivity and efficiency

    Lead and support reengineering projects to improve productivity, improve controls and quality of key activities

    Ensure there is a strong culture of high integrity, ethics and meritocracy

    Full leadership and supervisory responsibility of a large group of administrative / support / technical employees or a small team of professional employees.

    Specific activities include :

    Create an environment oriented to trust, open communication, creative thinking, and cohesive team effort

  • Provide the team with a vision of the project objectivesMotivate and inspire team members
  • Lead by setting a good example (role model) behavior consistent with words

    Coach and help develop team members; help resolve dysfunctional behavior

    Responsible of enforcing systems, policies, and procedures in the team

    Set goals for performance and deadlines in ways that comply with Citi’s plans and vision and communicate them to the team

  • Work affects multiple teams or potentially an entire area
  • Understand in-depth the O&T FP&A structure and how it impacts the overall organization and bank strategies;
  • Manage 3 C11 direct reports : ICG Ops Brazil FP&A, ICG Tech Brazil FP&A and EO&T Brazil Consolidation FP&A;
  • Lead financial conversation directly with businesses & finance senior management such as O&T Brazil Businesses Leads, FP&A Brazil Leads, O&T Regional FP&A Leads, Local and Regional Chief of Staffs;
  • Build a strong relationship with EO&T FP&As in Costa Rica.

    Apply in-depth disciplinary knowledge to contribute to the development of new techniques, models and the improvement of processes and work-

  • flow for the area while providing value added perspectives or advice;
  • Deeply understand O&T Charge-outs process and drivers for Actuals, Outlook and Plan cycles;
  • Ensure that the Productivity process lead by the O&T Business in Brazil are financially sustainable and permanent, support the business on the identification of Productivity initiatives, participate on decision making analysis over any processes and HC migration plans to other Geographies;
  • Drive standardization of activities including the identification of productivity and efficiency between other Clusters and Regional team in Costa Rica;
  • Build a strong relationship with the Business FP&As mainly during Plan cycles in order to ensure that the correct insights according the necessary budget to support the business decisions are being considered in O&T.

    Qualifications

    Knowledge / Experience / Skills

    Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Industrial Engineer ora related field with at least 10-12 years of experience with more than 4 yearsof Planning and Analysis experience

  • Post graduate degree in Accounting, Finance or related field is desired
  • Understanding of Banking & Finance products and markets
  • Strong financial analysis foundation creating forecasts andmodels

  • Keen interest in business and economic environment
  • Bilingual : English and Spanish. Articulate with excellent verbaland written communication skills. Portuguese is a plus.

  • Medium - Advanced MS Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Applies project management skills
  • Be attention to detail oriented and proactive
  • Ability to work within a team and be an individual contributor
  • Strong analytical skills, intellectual curiosity
  • Ability to question status quo, and identify opportunities toreengineer / streamline processes

  • Strong communication, diplomacy & presentation skills

    Ability to partner with senior stakeholders across businessesand geographies

    Ability to manage in a complex / dynamic environment and guidestaff or work as a leader through change management initiatives
